The College of Agriculture and Agri-Industries successfully held its year-end assessment and review on December 17, 2025, at Mahigalaon Beach Resort, Carmen.

Our College Dean, Dr. Elizabeth P. Parac, reflected on a year marked by growth, achievements, and resilience, made possible through the collective efforts of our dedicated faculty and staff. The event was further enriched by an inspiring message from Dr. Rowena P. Varela, whose words served as a guiding compass as we move forward.

We also recognized faculty members and staff for their unwavering dedication, hard work, and meaningful contributions to the college. Your efforts truly make a difference! Together, we continue to cultivate excellence and shape the future. 🌱

𝐂𝐒𝐔 𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐠𝐧𝐢𝐳𝐞𝐝 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐎𝐮𝐭𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 𝐀𝐋𝐄

Caraga State University was recognized by the Professional Regulatory Board of Agriculture for its outstanding performance in the November 2025 Agriculturist Licensure Examination, ranking 6th nationwide with an 86.89% passing rate for its takers.

Dr. Elizabeth P. Parac, Dean of the College of Agriculture and Agri-Industries, and Ms. Sharyl Mae M. Daverao, ALE Review Coordinator, accepted the distinction on behalf of the institution.

Individual excellence was also in the spotlight as Mr. Mauro S. Goyo Jr., a BAT program alumnus, was recognized during the ceremony for placing 10th nationwide with a rating of 90.84%.

These achievements position CSU among the leading institutions in agricultural education. Congratulations to our faculty, staff, and our new Licensed Agriculturists!

Caraga State University (CSU) received a prestigious Plaque of Recognition from the Professional Regulatory Board of Agriculture as one of the country’s premier agricultural institutions, ranking Top 6 nationwide in the November 2025 Licensure Examination for Agriculturists. The award recognizes the University’s sustained commitment to academic excellence as CSU achieved a stellar 86.89% passing rate for first-time takers.

🎄 𝐒𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐦𝐚𝐬 𝐒𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝐁𝐫𝐠𝐲. 𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐚𝐠 🎁

This holiday season, the 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐀𝐠𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐀𝐠𝐫𝐢-𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬 conducted an outreach program to provide necessary support to the residents of Brgy. Basag who were affected by the recent flooding. Our goal was to deliver essential relief and bring some measure of comfort during this challenging time.

The outreach successfully distributed essential supplies to families: Christmas Packs, 5 kilograms of rice, and assorted clothing.

This outreach was made possible through the collective effort of the CAA team and kind-hearted donors. We hope this assistance provides meaningful relief and a reminder that their community stands with them. 🌱

We grow food. We sustain lives.

Our faculty and staff shared the gift of kindness by donating seven sacks of dog food to Heart for Paws, a private organization in Brgy. Kinamlutan, Butuan City that provides shelter and care for rescued dogs.

Let’s continue spreading compassion, your donations can help give these furry friends a safer, happier life. Every little bit counts! 🐾

A day filled with pride and gratitude as we honored 159 new Registered Agriculturists from the Bachelor of Agricultural Technology (BAT) and Bachelor of Science in Agriculture (BSA) programs, including 𝐌𝐚𝐮𝐫𝐨 𝐒. 𝐆𝐨𝐲𝐨 𝐉𝐫., who earned a prestigious Top 10 spot!

Held last December 5, 2025 at OATC, CSU, Ampayon, this meaningful gathering brought together ALE passers, faculty, and staff to celebrate the culmination of hard work, perseverance, and dedication.

The College of Agriculture and Agri-Industries extends its heartfelt congratulations to 𝗠𝘀. 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗖. 𝗢𝗹𝗮𝗿, a Faculty member of the Department of Plant and Soil Sciences, for her exceptional performance!

Ms. Olar was honored with the 𝗕𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 in the Biotechnology and Crop Innovation Track at the prestigious 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗻 𝗔𝗴𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗜𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝗜𝗖𝗔𝗥𝗜) 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱, hosted by the Agusan del Sur State College of Agriculture and Technology (ASSCAT).

Ms. Olar's paper, which merited this significant recognition, was entitled:

The research was specifically lauded for its scientific innovation and direct relevance to current biotechnology and crop innovation practices, particularly within the study of the Red Dragon Fruit.

The 𝗜𝗖𝗔𝗥𝗜 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 Conference, held on December 1, 2025, at Gov. D.O. Plaza, Government Center, Prosperidad, Agusan del Sur, centered on the timely theme: "𝑨𝒈𝒓𝒊𝒄𝒖𝒍𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒂𝒍 𝑰𝒏𝒏𝒐𝒗𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒂 𝑹𝒆𝒔𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑺𝒖𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒊𝒏𝒂𝒃𝒍𝒆 𝑭𝒖𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒆."

Aside from Ms. Olar's success, two other CAA faculty members, Dr. Crishelo M. Cabillo and Ms. Naomi Grace M. Lancita, also represented the college by actively participating in the conference.
