The 1st CEGS College-Wide Hard Hatting and Pinning Ceremony was successfully held on June 4, 2026 at the CSU Gymnasium, bringing together students, faculty members, university officials, parents, and industry partner in a meaningful celebration of academic achievement and professional readiness.

The ceremony marked a significant transition for our students as they formally received their hard hats and pins—symbols of their preparedness to enter the professional world through their On-the-Job Training and field immersion experiences. More than a rite of passage, the event served as a reminder of the responsibilities, ethics, and commitment expected of future engineers and geologists.
