A successful Legal Aid activity indeed! ⚖️✨
The FSUU College of Law, through the Legal Research and Writing class of Atty. William Christian P. Dela Cruz, in partnership with the Integrated Bar of the Philippines Agusan del Norte Chapter, successfully launched the BALAOD Series: Broadening Access to Law for All through On-site Discussions, a project under the IBP Agusan del Norte Chapter’s LAW for ALL Program, held at Barangay Baan Riverside on May 9, 2026.
Centered on the discussion, “Makapriso ba ang Utang? Basic Laws Every Debtor and Creditor Should Know,” the activity became a meaningful avenue to promote legal awareness, financial literacy, community empowerment, and access to justice by bringing the law closer to the people through simple discussions and active engagement.
The FSUU College of Law extends its heartfelt gratitude to everyone who supported and participated in making this initiative a success. Special appreciation is extended to our guest speaker, Atty. Noreen Grace C. Salise-Gonzaga, CPA, for generously sharing her time, expertise, and valuable insights with the community and participating students.
We also sincerely thank IBP Agusan del Norte Chapter President Atty. Ron Honculada, Kap. Yul Liza Uy Corvera of Barangay Baan Riverside, and our volunteer lawyers, Atty. John Unay Sr., Atty. Beverly Keren Lou Go, Atty. Isha Grace Quiao Vallinas, Atty. John Pizarro, Atty. Jeremy Goña, Atty. Carl Angelo Cupay, Atty. Bea Denise Roa, and Atty. Jemimah Ganancial, for their unwavering support, service, and commitment to legal education and community outreach.
The College likewise commends the students of the Legal Research and Writing class for their dedication and active participation in this endeavor, reflecting the University’s mission of forming socially responsive and service oriented future legal professionals.
To everyone who worked behind the scenes and to all members of the community who joined us, daghang salamat po! 🙏🏻🙌🏻
Together, we continue to uphold the mission of bringing the law closer to the people. 🤍
