With profound sadness, we mourn the passing of our beloved instructor, Ms. Ju-an C. Martinez.

Her passion for teaching, her kindness, and her unwavering support for her students have left an indelible mark on all of us. She was more than just a teacher—she was a mentor, a guide, and a source of strength and inspiration. Her legacy lives on in every life she touched and in every lesson she shared.

We extend our deepest condolences to her family, friends, colleagues, and all whose lives she brightened. As we mourn her loss, we also celebrate the beautiful impact she made in this world.

𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞: The United Tourism and Hospitality Young Professionals - FSUU Chapter (UTHYP-FSUU), in partnership with the Department of Tourism (DOT) Caraga, conducted an event titled "Gender Sensitivity Orientation & Child-Safe Tourism Seminar" this Tuesday afternoon, March 25 at AVR 1, with the aim of upholding ethical tourism and in celebration of National Women's Month.

Tiara Julia M. Santos, DOT Caraga assistant regional director and GAD Focal, led the discussion on gender sensitivity, with a focus on Gender and Development (GAD) laws, policies and information on s*x and gender. Azelea B. Peñas, administrative officer also from DOT Caraga, then led a discussion on children's safety, especially in combating child s*xual exploitation in tourism (CSET).

Open forums were held to entertain questions related to the topics, and ice breaker games with prizes entertained the tourism and hospitality students.
