Mindanao State University-Zamboanga Sibugay proudly congratulates its various programs for successfully passing the AACCUP Preliminary Survey Visit (PSV) conducted on May 11–15, 2026, and are now officially Candidates for the Level I Survey Visit!

This milestone truly reflects the collective commitment, dedication, and hard work of our administrators, faculty, staff, students, and accreditation teams in advancing quality assurance and academic excellence for our stakeholders.

As we move forward to the next stage of our accreditation journey, we remain committed to continuous improvement and to upholding the standards in the delivery of quality education.

The Bachelor of Public Administration students of Mindanao State University–Zamboanga Sibugay have successfully completed their 240 hours Practicum, gaining valuable hands-on experience in different government offices and agencies.

Our student-trainees were deployed to various agencies, including:

📍 Pag-IBIG Fund – Pagadian Branch
📍 Philippine Coconut Authority (PCA) – Zamboanga Sibugay Provincial Office
📍 Office of the City Prosecutor – Hall of Justice, Zamboanga City
📍 Municipal Tourism, Culture and Arts Office – LGU Naga
📍 Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Office (PENRO) – DENR-IX, Zamboanga del Sur
📍 Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) – Diplahan Branch
📍 Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) – Imelda
📍 Human Resource Management Office (HRMO) – LGU Buug, Zamboanga Sibugay

Through these different practicum experiences, students were given the opportunity to apply classroom knowledge in actual government operations, strengthen their communication and administrative skills, develop professionalism and teamwork, and gain a deeper understanding of public service.

The 240 hours may have been a requirement, but the lessons, experiences, challenges, and memories gained along the way will become part of our preparation as future public administrators and public servants.

This practicum reflects our commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by promoting quality learning and practical education, preparing students for meaningful work, strengthening our understanding of effective and accountable institutions, and fostering collaboration between students, universities, and government agencies.
