Mindanao State University–Zamboanga Sibugay (formerly Mindanao State University-Buug) proudly celebrates its participation in the Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings 2026, earning an Overall Rank of 1001–1500 among higher education institutions worldwide.
This achievement reflects the University's steadfast commitment to advancing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through excellence in instruction, research, extension, and community engagements.
The University extends its heartfelt appreciation to the leadership of Chancellor Prof. Sheila G.Magolama, PhD for her unwavering guidance and support that made this milestone possible.
Special recognition is likewise accorded to the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research and Extension (OVCRE), Vice Chancellors, Deans of the various colleges, the Technical Committee, the Lead and Co-lead of each SDG and all members of the Working committee whose dedication, collaboration, and hard work were instrumental in the successful preparation and submission of the University's THE Impact Rankings entry.
