By virtue of 𝗖𝗘𝗜𝗧 𝗠𝗲𝗺𝗼 𝗡𝗼. 𝟭𝟰𝟳, 𝘀. 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, all CEIT students (First Year to Fourth Year) are required to attend the College Orientation on:

Students are expected to:

𝗖𝗦𝗨𝗖𝗖 𝗜𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 𝗳𝗮𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘆 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝗗𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝘀𝗲 𝗮𝘁 𝗡𝗘𝗠𝗦𝗨

Engr. Junell T. Bojocan, an IT faculty member of the College of Engineering and Information Technology (CEIT) at Caraga State University Cabadbaran Campus, was recently invited by North Eastern Mindanao State University (NEMSU) to serve as the Resource Person for their Digital Credentialing orientation and training workshop.

The event was hosted by the NEMSU College of Information Technology Education (CITE) on July 14, 2026, at the NEMSU - Main Campus.

During the event, Engr. Bojocan led comprehensive training sessions covering several key areas, including:
- An overview of the importance and benefits of digital credentials, badges, and - microcredentials for institutions, faculty, and students.
- Detailed discussions on the key provisions of CHED CMO No. 1, Series of 2025, and how microcredentials align with the Philippine Qualifications Framework (PQF).
- An exploration of various digital credentialing platforms, highlighting tools like Badgr, Accredible, Canvas Credentials, CertifyMe, and Moodle Badges.
- Hands-on workshops focused on designing effective digital credentials, identifying competencies and learning outcomes, creating badge criteria, and developing assessment rubrics.

The program also featured university leaders and faculty, including Dr. Esmael V. Maliberan, Born Christian A. Isip, Vincent Angelo T. Acosta, and Dr. Nap Nichole Greg S. Salera with their remarks and messages.
