The Political Science Society invites students, organizations, and members of the academic community to join us for an afternoon of meaningful discussion and exchange of perspectives on an issue that continues to concern our societyโ€”the rights, welfare, and justice of the youth.

Youth Rights, and Justice: A Multidisciplinary Perspective on Juvenile Delinquency aims to explore the underlying causes and contributing factors of juvenile delinquency, particularly the psychological, social, and environmental circumstances that influence youth behavior, and their involvement in the justice system and its legal basis

This symposium will be an opportunity to learn, listen, and engage in thoughtful discussions beyond the usual classroom setting. Through a multidisciplinary perspective, we hope to encourage a deeper understanding of youth justice and the importance of looking at the issue from different fields and experiences.

Today, we gathered as one College of Arts and Sciences community for the Pagsambang Wesleyan Convocation 2026. This gathering gave us a moment to pause, reflect, and place the academic year ahead in God's hands, as we prepare for the opportunities and challenges that await us.

As we step into another year of learning, growth, and new experiences, may we continue to be guided by faith, strengthened by one another, and inspired to serve our community with compassion, purpose, and dedication.

May this gathering remind us of the importance of faith and unity as we move forward together. May this be the beginning of a fruitful, meaningful, and blessed journey for all of us.

Bilang mga mag-aaral ng Political Science, naninindigan kami na ang tunay na kaunlaran ay hindi dapat isinusukat lamang sa laki ng pamumuhunan, kundi sa kung paano nito pinangangalagaan ang kapakanan ng mamamayan, ang ating kalikasan, at ang pambansang soberanya.

Hindi kami laban sa pag-unlad. Ang aming tinututulan ay anumang polisiyang may posibilidad na isantabi ang transparency, makabuluhang konsultasyon sa mamamayan, at pangmatagalang pambansang interes kapalit ng mga pangakong benepisyo.
