On August 23, the Alpha Phi Omega Phi Chapter successfully carried out a meaningful service project through a Tree Planting Activity dedicated to protecting and preserving the environment. With the full force of both alumni and resident members, the event was held in a designated planting site in the community.
Early in the morning, members gathered with tools, seedlings, and a strong spirit of volunteerism. The activity began with a short orientation on the importance of tree planting as a way to combat climate change, prevent soil erosion, and provide cleaner air for the future generation. After the briefing, participants worked hand-in-hand, planting numerous seedlings in prepared areas.
The unity between alumni and resident members reflected the brotherhood and service that Alpha Phi Omega upholds. Everyone contributed their time, effort, and resources, proving that small actions when done together can create a big impact in saving Mother Earth.
The activity ended with a sense of accomplishment and a renewed commitment to continue advocating for environmental care. Truly, this service project showed how the fraternity stands as a beacon of leadership, friendship, and service in the community.
