𝗣𝗡𝗟𝗘 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 | Some Dreams are Earned One Late Night at a Time

The nights were long, the dream was worth it.

The long nights when studying felt endless. The mornings that came too soon. The moments of doubt, exhaustion, and fear. The days when giving up probably felt easier, but you chose to continue anyway. And in between all of that were the prayers, sacrifices, and quiet hope that one day, all of it would be worth it.

And now, that day has come. 🤍

This month, we raise awareness for the millions of people living with blood diseases. These conditions affect not only patients but also families, caregivers, and communities that consistently show up for them. Behind every diagnosis is a person, and behind every person is a story of strength worth knowing.

Let's use this month to educate ourselves, check in on those affected, support research and access to treatment, and consider something as simple as donating blood, because small acts of awareness and kindness can make a real difference in someone's fight.

A moment of pride and celebration for the NEUST College of Nursing for attaining a 92% 𝗣𝗔𝗦𝗦𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗘 for first-time takers in the September 2026 Philippine Nursing Licensure Examination, and 76.74% National Passing Rate!

Congratulations to our PNLE 2026 Passers for turning years of hard work, sleepless nights, and unwavering determination into the title you earned. Your achievement is a reflection of your dedication, perseverance, and commitment to the nursing profession.

This September 16-22 is the Cerebral Palsy Awareness and Protection Week, a week dedicated to promoting inclusivity, early detection, prevention, and appropriate intervention to everyone living with cerebral palsy.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗮𝗹𝘀𝘆?

Cerebral palsy is a neurological condition that affects the person’s movement, balance, coordination, and muscle control. It is caused by abnormal brain development or damaged developing which leads to the loss of control to muscles. Brain development or damage is caused by problems during pregnancy, infection, stroke, genetic problems, lack of oxygen, severe jaundice or diseases.

Currently, there is no cure for cerebral palsy but early identification and treatment can help lessen the severity of the symptoms and support the quality of life.

This week, let us encourage understanding and inclusion. Cerebral palsy may reduce the ability of a person to move but it doesn’t define who they are and what they are capable of. Let us see people beyond their condition. They deserve to be respected for who they are and to be given equal opportunity to grow. 🩺
