With their prowess and dedication, the English Language Department’s Performing Artist once again clinched the title and still undefeated during the University Meet 2024 - Performing Arts Competition.

Their exceptional talent and hard work shone brightly on the stage as they delivered captivating performances that left the audience in awe. The team's commitment to their craft was truly admirable, demonstrating the power of creativity and teamwork. Their victory not only brought pride to the English Language Department but also inspired others to pursue their own passions with determination and passion. As they continue to showcase their skills and passion for the arts, they undoubtedly serve as a shining example of what can be achieved through dedication and perseverance.

The team was fortunate to have two exceptional coaches leading the way towards success. Mr. Chleo Pascual and Mrs. Pilipina Cagurangan brought their expertise, dedication, and passion to every practice and competition.

Moreover, they will be representing the university in the Regional Level — CaVRASUC 2024.

ACADEMIC AND MENTAL HEALTH BREAK ON NOV. 2-5, 2022.

By virtue of Office Memo. No. 10-31-01, s. 2022, the University President declares Academic and Mental Health Break on Nov. 2-5, 2022.

All face-to-face classes and activities in the three (3) campuses of the university are suspended on said break.

Faculty and staff shall continue to report to work.

𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞 || 𝗕𝗔𝗘𝗟𝗦 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗚𝗥𝗔𝗠 𝗥𝗘𝗖𝗘𝗜𝗩𝗘𝗦 𝗠𝗔𝗝𝗢𝗥 𝗥𝗘𝗖𝗢𝗚𝗡𝗜𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦 𝗗𝗨𝗥𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗨𝗡𝗜𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗦𝗜𝗧𝗬 𝗡𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗧 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟮

The Bachelor of Arts in English Language Studies (BAELS) Program was hailed as the Most Productive Program in Research for the Academic Years 2020 and 2022 during the University Night 2022 as part of the 10th Charter Day Celebration held at the University Gymnasium, QSU Diffun Campus.

Meanwhile, faculty members of this program also received major awards during the said event:

Dr. Roselle M. Soriano, BAELS Program Chairperson, received QSU Cabarroguis Campus' Most Outstanding Faculty Researcher, Research Publication Awardee, and Best Paper Awardee.

Prof. Pilipina B. Cagurangan and Prof. Christian N. Escario received QSU Cabarroguis' Most Outstanding Research Coordinator and Extension Coordinator, respectively.

On the other hand, Prof. Chleo G. Pascual received the Exemplary Award, ASCU-SN Summer Olympics 2022 Awardee, Research Publication Award, and Star of the Night.

𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞: 𝗙𝗔𝗖𝗨𝗟𝗧𝗬 𝗠𝗘𝗠𝗕𝗘𝗥𝗦, 𝗦𝗧𝗨𝗗𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗦, 𝗖𝗟𝗨𝗕 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗗𝗘𝗣𝗔𝗥𝗧𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗢𝗙𝗙𝗜𝗖𝗘𝗥𝗦 𝗣𝗔𝗥𝗧𝗜𝗖𝗜𝗣𝗔𝗧𝗘𝗗 𝗜𝗡 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗦𝗜𝗠𝗨𝗟𝗧𝗔𝗡𝗘𝗢𝗨𝗦 𝗖𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗡-𝗨𝗣 𝗗𝗥𝗜𝗩𝗘 𝗢𝗙 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗨𝗡𝗜𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗦𝗜𝗧𝗬.

As part of the 10th founding anniversary of the university, dubbed as "Unang Dekada ng QSU," faculty members, staff, and students from the different programs of the campus participated in the simultaneous clean-up drive movement, which promotes a greener and healthy environment.

BAELS Faculty Members, outgoing Club Officers of the Teatrio Artrio Performing Arts Club (TAPAC), newly-elected Department Officers, and students attended the event.

On the other hand, the Anniversary Parade and University Night will be held on Saturday, October 29, at 8 a.m. and 6 p.m., respectively.

The 3rd Campus In-House was successfully concluded last Friday with the theme "Sustainable Research and Development: Creating a Foundation for Practice and Education in the Now Normal", wherein Faculty Members of the English Language Department bagged onced again the top places in the different categories.

Dr. Roselle M. Soriano, with her research titled, "Emerging Opportunities and Challenges in Lesson Study: A Qualitative Study" and "It's a Continuous Battle: Untangling the Lived Experiences of the Students with Special Needs" bagged the 1st Place and 2nd Place in Higher Education Category and Social Science Category, respectively.

Meanwhile, Prof. Christian N. Escario got the 2nd Place in the Higher Education Category, with his research titled, "The Relationship between Self-Efficacy and English Proficiency of Freshman Students in a State University."

Under the Institutionally Funded Extension Category, Prof. Chleo G. Pascual hailed as the 3rd Placer with his research titled, " VOICES (Venturing Of Information for Communication's Effectiveness of the Society): The Basic Literacy Training of the English Language Department."

The Top 5 winners of the different research categories will advance to the 10th University In-House Review.
