Quirino State University–Cabarroguis (QSU-C) Campus Research and Development (R&D) Office named the top three outstanding research papers in both the Technical and Non-Technical categories of the 4th Campus Student Research Colloquium held through paper review on May 21, 2026.
This year's entries showcased the academic depth and creativity of QSU students across various disciplines. The annual event highlighted groundbreaking student-led innovations aimed at addressing contemporary challenges, matching advanced mathematical modeling, technological automation, and the social sciences with practical community applications.
A total of 27 research entries were meticulously evaluated, comprising 21 studies in the Non-Technical Category and 6 competitive innovations in the Technical Category.
The reviewed papers were evaluated by a distinguished board of evaluators. The panel for the Technical Category was composed of Ms. Carmela G. Blando, Ms. Isabel F. Salvador, and Engr. Rey C. Naval, while the Non-Technical Category was reviewed by Dr. Dyanika P. Nolasco, Dr. Melidiossa V. Pagudpud, and Dr. Annalene Grace E. Co.
The top-ranking paper from each category will move forward to represent the campus at the upcoming University Student Research Colloquium.
The QSU-C community extends its warmest congratulations to the winning student researchers, their hardworking advisers, and their respective departments for raising the bar of academic excellence. The same extends to all participating students, whose dedication and valuable contributions continue to fuel the research culture of the campus.
