Earlier today, the third-year students of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines–Cabiao Campus took a psychological examination in preparation for their fourth-year endeavors. The assessment aims to help students better understand their strengths, capabilities, and readiness as they transition into the next stage of their academic journey and future professional pursuits.

The Polytechnic University of the Philippines – Cabiao Campus Student Council proudly invites all students to participate in Mx. Top Models 2026, a special Pride Month modeling competition that celebrates the beauty of authenticity, the strength of diversity, and the power of self-expression.

With the theme “Authentically You, Unapologetically Radiant: Celebrating Diversity, Confidence, and Pride,” this event serves as a platform for students to confidently embrace their individuality and showcase their unique identities through creative and meaningful visual representation. More than a modeling competition, Mx. Top Models 2026 is a celebration of inclusivity, respect, empowerment, and the vibrant diversity that exists within our university community.

We encourage all interested students to submit a portrait or modeling photograph that reflects the values of confidence, self-acceptance, authenticity, and pride. Through your entry, you are given the opportunity to share your story, express your personality, and inspire others by promoting a culture of understanding, equality, and acceptance. Whether through your attire, pose, expression, or overall presentation, let your photograph embody the spirit of being unapologetically yourself.

All bona fide and currently enrolled students of PUP Cabiao Campus are eligible to participate. Each team may submit one (1) official representative.

📌 𝗦𝗨𝗕𝗠𝗜𝗦𝗦𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗚𝗨𝗜𝗗𝗘𝗟𝗜𝗡𝗘𝗦
• Submit one (1) recent, high-quality portrait or modeling photograph reflecting the event theme.
• Entries must be submitted in JPEG or PNG format through the official email address on or before the designated deadline.
• Basic photo enhancements are permitted; however, inappropriate or offensive content is strictly prohibited.
• Follow the prescribed file name format and include all required information in your email submission.

🏆 𝗩𝗢𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗝𝗨𝗗𝗚𝗜𝗡𝗚
Official entries will be posted on the Student Council's page, where participants may invite supporters to react to their photos. Only the Like (👍) and Heart (❤️) reactions will be counted as valid votes. Final results will be determined through a combination of online engagement and judges’ evaluation to ensure fairness and credibility.

Criteria for Judging:
• Content and Relevance to the Theme – 40%
• Creativity and Inclusivity – 30%
• Online Engagement – 30%
Total – 100%

Today, we proudly commemorate the 128th Anniversary of Philippine Independence — a historic reminder of the courage, resilience, and patriotism of the Filipino people who fought tirelessly for the freedom we enjoy today.

On June 12, 1898, at the ancestral home of General Emilio Aguinaldo in Kawit, Cavite, the Philippine flag was officially unfurled for the very first time while the Philippine National Anthem was played, marking the declaration of independence from more than three centuries of Spanish colonization. This significant event became a symbol of hope, unity, and the unwavering desire of Filipinos to achieve sovereignty and self-determination.

As we honor this remarkable chapter in our nation’s history, let us remember the sacrifices of our heroes whose bravery paved the way for the freedoms and opportunities we now possess. Their legacy continues to inspire every Filipino to stand united, uphold justice, preserve democracy, and contribute meaningfully to nation-building.

𝗙𝗶𝗿𝗲 𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆, 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗔𝗶𝗱, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴

The Polytechnic University of the Philippines – Cabiao Campus will conduct a Fire Safety Orientation and Fire Drills, together with a Simultaneous First Aid and Disaster Preparedness Training, on June 10, 2026, at the Multipurpose Hall, PUP Cabiao Campus.

This activity is intended for NSTP/CWTS students and aims to equip participants with essential knowledge and practical skills in fire prevention, emergency evacuation procedures, basic first aid, and disaster preparedness. Through this initiative, students will gain a deeper understanding of safety protocols and develop the competence needed to respond effectively during emergencies.

The University remains committed to fostering a culture of safety, preparedness, and resilience by promoting awareness and strengthening emergency response capabilities within the campus community.
