Ahoy, CMET Community 🌊

🔥 On March 14, 2026, in observance of Fire Prevention Month, CMET students attended a Disaster Preparedness Seminar conducted by the PTC Talent Acquisition | RISE Program in partnership with the Center for Service-Learning and Community Engagement (CSCE). The seminar focused on raising awareness about fire safety and disaster preparedness.

The session was facilitated by Sir Josh Christian P. McCarver, Lead Program Officer (RISE Program), and Sir Hector Manuel Jon C. Brizuela, EnP, SO2, Program Manager (Talent Acquisition Group) of Philippine Transmarine Carriers, Inc. (PTC).

Participants also enjoyed the MOD Board Game, a fun and interactive activity that showcased teamwork while promoting disaster preparedness.

The CMET Student Council extends its appreciation to the PTC RISE Program and CSCE for organizing this informative seminar, and to the CMET students who actively participated.

The Francisco Balagtas Auditorium became a venue of inspiration as Stella Maris organized the three-part Values Enrichment Seminar, dedicated to nurturing mental health awareness and strengthening core values.

We extend our deepest gratitude to Fr. Paulo H. Prigol, whose insightful talk guided the seminar and left a lasting impression on everyone present. Special appreciation also goes to the Dean Capt. Aramando Ternida, the dedicated CMET faculty, and the engaged CMET students whose active participation brought energy and meaning to the event.

Together, this seminar became more than just a program it was a shared journey of reflection, growth, and empowerment for the future leaders of the maritime profession.

On January 28, 2026, as we continue to celebrate the Foundation Week, CMET brought the house down at Battle of the Bands! With Ziptie, 3/4, Decent, 6th Hrmny, Uiva-Euforia, Sonreír, and Lifeline rocking the stage, the night was pure energy.

Huge thanks to our estemeed judges Sir Jhoenel Marquez, Mark Edrian Altarez, Eugene Borja, and Jerrymy Y. Muyco, plus the inspiring words of Dean Capt. Armando Ternida and C/M Jake Dennis Dumoran.

Ahoy! CMET Community 🌊

Yesterday’s Water Gun battle, Baton Relay, and Giant Volleyball brought out the best of our CMET family. From the playful splashes to the powerful spikes, everyone showed teamwork, energy, and pure Pinoy fun.

The laughter, cheers, and friendly competition proved that CMET doesn’t just play the game, we bring the spirit of unity and joy to every challenge.

Truly, it was a day of bonding, sportsmanship, and unforgettable memories for CMET!

What a day to remember! We kicked things off with some high-flying Frisbee action 🥏, celebrated brilliance with the President’s List 🎓, laughed our hearts out during the ever-entertaining Family Feud.

Cheered loud and proud for our athletes because CMET Volleyball Men 🏐 smashed their way into the Finals!

The energy was electric, the cheers were deafening, and the MMCL spirit was alive in every corner.

The celebration of Mapúa MCL’s 20th Foundation Anniversary continued in full force today, January 26, in its 3rd day. The Track Oval Field was alive with the vibrant spirit of Palarong Pinoy, consisting of exciting and thrilling games of Limborak, Giant Volleyball, Tug of War, and Obstacle Relay, and Tamaang Tao. Moreover, the Men’s Basketball Tournament exhibited intensity and teamwork in its competition. And guess what? CMET basketball is officially headed to the FINALS!🫡😍🔥

So let’s all get behind the team as they move forward with heart, grit, and the true spirit of the mariner!
