It was in the year 1995 when the Barangay Council Official in Barangay Jerusalem, Cadiz City with coordination of the local government officials and the Dep Ed, Cadiz City Division Officials approved Resolution No. 07 – 03 series of 1997 the opening of an Extension High School called Villacin National High School Extension – Jerusalem under satellite of Villacin National High School, Brgy. Current
ly, the school has a total enrolment of 305 from First Year to 4th year for the school year 2012-2013, with a total of 9 teachers including Teacher-In-Charge assigned since 2009. The school has 8 classrooms with 10 classes, with a complete curriculum having taught and adopted the RBEC curriculum. The school has an area of 1.5 hectares flat with a hilly portion area around the school campus, with two building, Marañontype 1 building having 4 rooms, two from Cong. Maranon III, and another two bldg. from the Department of Education and the other one temporarily use as administrative office and Resource Learning Center. School Year 2007-2008 school stage was already utilized in all the activities and school program. The school is surrounded by the sugarcane plantation in a few distances. Varieties of trees were already grown up that gives greenish and coolness in our school campus. The separation of the school from being an extension high school of Villacin National High School was approved last September 13, 2010. Four classroom building was added this 2011 to accommodate the increasing student population of the school. The Yee-on Extension of the school was also created in the school year 2011-2012 to accommodate students from Brgy. Cabahug, Cadiz City a neighbor Barangay of Brgy. Jerusalem.
