North Negros College presents its Calendar of Activities for October 2026 for Academic Year 2026–2027.

October brings together academic milestones, professional and student development, cultural activities, sports, experiential learning, and leadership formation. As the first semester approaches its conclusion, the NNC community is encouraged to remain actively engaged while preparing for the academic responsibilities ahead.

🧠 October 3 — Psychological First Aid Training for Faculty, Staff, Student Leaders, and 3rd Year Students

🏅 October 7 — PRISAA at Lasar Hall, 2:00 PM
🧠 October 10 — Psychological First Aid Training for 4th Year Students
🏀 October 17 — Sports Clinic
🚌 October 18–20 — Simulation and Transport Tour for HM 2A & 2B
🎨 October 21 — Handum Workshop
📝 October 22–24 — 1st–3rd Year Final Examination
🌟 October 28–30 — Leadership Training

A significant focus this month is the culmination of the first semester, complemented by activities that provide students with opportunities to learn beyond the classroom. From experiential learning and sports development to mental health preparedness and leadership formation, October reflects NNC’s commitment to developing well-rounded and responsible learners.

Students, faculty, and staff are encouraged to stay updated through the official communication channels of North Negros College, as specific schedules and additional announcements for each activity will be released accordingly.

North Negros College, through its TVET/Assessment Center, announces the availability of 25 slots for the TESDA Cookery NC II Training Program.

This training opportunity is open to qualified applicants from selected barangays in Cadiz City who are ready to develop practical competencies in cookery and strengthen their skills for future employment, livelihood, and other opportunities in the hospitality and food service industry.

📌 Requirements:

✅ 1 long brown envelope
✅ 5 photocopies of Birth Certificate (PSA/NSO)
✅ 5 photocopies of Marriage Contract – for married female applicants
✅ 5 photocopies of TOR – for college graduates
✅ 5 photocopies of Report Card – for high school/senior high school graduates
✅ 1 original copy of Medical Certificate
✅ 3 pcs. 1×1 ID picture (Fuji)
✅ 4 pcs. passport-size picture (Fuji)

📍 Qualified applicants must be of legal age, not currently employed by the government, and demonstrate willingness and commitment to complete the training.

Applications are open to residents of Brgy. Daga, Brgy. Banquerohan, Brgy. Tiglawigan, Brgy. Tinampaan, Brgy. Caduha-an, Brgy. Luna, Brgy. Sicaba, Brgy. Burgos, and Brgy. Mabini.

A significant focus for the month is the promotion of mental health awareness and su***de prevention, reinforcing the importance of creating a supportive school community where individuals are encouraged to look out for one another, seek appropriate support, and recognize the value of psychological well-being.
