Excellence shines brightest through service, and today, we proudly celebrate one of our very own.

The College of Arts and Sciences extends its warmest congratulations to Mr. Michael John Molijon, a dedicated ISDA leader and 4th Year BAELS student, for being recognized as one of the Top 8 Volunteers of the Year during the KINANAO Awards 2026, held on July 30, 2026, at the City Tourism Hall.

KINANAO, derived from the Higaonon word kinanao meaning “learner,” is the annual search that honors outstanding organizations and Kagay-anon scholar-leaders who exemplify excellence in academics, leadership, and community service. MJ’s recognition is a testament to his unwavering dedication and, at the same time, a proud reminder that CAS students are not only cutesy and demure—we are competent, resilient, and committed to creating meaningful impact beyond the university and within our communities.

Your CAS family stands proudly behind you. Congratulations once again, MJ! Continue inspiring others through your selfless service and exemplary leadership. The future is bright because of volunteers like you. We are incredibly proud of you. 💙✨

As we officially welcomed the new academic year, the Capitol University community came together for the Welcome Assembly 2026 with the inspiring theme, "Haraya: Dreams Woven into Legends." It was a celebration of new beginnings, bold aspirations, and the journey we are about to create together.

The College of Arts and Sciences proudly stood alongside the rest of the university, representing our department with pride, unity, and enthusiasm. Seeing the Capitolian community come together made the occasion even more meaningful.

To our freshmen, thank you for bringing your excitement and energy as you begin this new chapter. To our upperclassmen, thank you for warmly welcoming our newest CAS students and leading the cheers that made everyone feel they truly belong.

A heartfelt thank you to the CAS Student Body Organization officers whose dedication, teamwork, and countless hours of preparation behind the scenes helped make this event a success.

Finally, to our CAS faculty, thank you for your unwavering support and guidance.

On July 6, 2026, 𝙈𝙧. 𝙍𝙖𝙙 𝙆𝙝𝙮𝙡𝙚 𝙇. 𝘿𝙞𝙜𝙣𝙤𝙨, the current President of the Capitol University - College of Arts and Sciences Student Body Organization (CU-CASSBO), officially took his oath as the 𝘾𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙡 𝙎𝙩𝙪𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙂𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙣𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 (𝘾𝙎𝙂) for the Academic Year 2026–2027 during the Induction and Oath-Taking Ceremony held at the Capitol University Seminar Room. As he begins this new leadership role, the CAS community proudly celebrates this milestone and wishes him continued success in serving the student body with dedication and commitment.

May your journey in leadership continue to be defined not only by achievements, but by the trust you earn, the people you empower, and the difference you make.

On July 03, 2026, our 𝗔.𝗬. 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲-𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟳 𝗥𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁-𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 united educators and families to shape brighter futures! From Earth and Water’s careful analysis to Fire and Air’s creative spark, we built bridges, shared plans, and strengthened our partnership for student success.
