The PHINMA COC ROTC Unit once again gathered its cadets for the 6th Sunday Formation of the first semester on 30 August 2026. The activity commenced at 0700H with an opening prayer and the singing of the Philippine National Anthem, reminding every cadet of the values of unity, patriotism, and commitment to duty.

The morning formation focused on strengthening military bearing and instilling proper discipline among the cadets. Attendance and inspections were conducted to ensure proper uniformity, grooming, and adherence to established standards. Cadets also took part in lectures that provided valuable knowledge on military principles and responsibilities.

The learning continued on the drill grounds as cadets practiced basic military drills and marching movements. Through every command, step, and formation, cadets developed greater coordination, confidence, teamwork, and attention to detail. The activity concluded with the proper recitation of the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) before the 1200H dismissal.

The 6th Sunday Formation was more than a routine gathering it was another opportunity for cadets to strengthen their character, sharpen their discipline, and prepare themselves for the responsibilities of leadership and service.

With synchronized steps and unwavering resolve, our cadets took to the streets to demonstrate the leadership, discipline, and patriotism that define the Kagay-anon youth. Beyond the festivities, this parade stands as a testament to our ongoing commitment to nation-building, civic duty, and community partnership.

Conducted in close coordination with the Philippine Red Cross, this initiative aimed to heighten safety awareness, refine rapid response capabilities, and ensure campus-wide preparedness in the event of a seismic emergency.

Students, faculty, and staff swiftly executed "Duck, Cover, and Hold" before proceeding with an orderly evacuation, demonstrating that true disaster readiness begins with proactive training, vigilance, and unity.

By transforming routine campus operations into a vital exercise in community safety, PHINMA COC continues to prove that academic excellence goes hand in hand with building a resilient, safety-conscious institution.

Trading usual field maneuvers for a vital humanitarian mission, the PHINMA-Cagayan de Oro College Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC) Unit and Ready-Reserve Unit actively participated in the bloodletting activity at the 10RCDG, Camp Evangelista, Patag, Cagayan de Oro City on August 15, 2026.

Conducted in close partnership with the 10th Regional Community Defense Group (10RCDG) and the Philippine Red Cross, this initiative aimed to promote public health awareness by encouraging voluntary blood donation as a selfless, life-saving act.

Cadets traded their tactical gear for medical protocols, demonstrating that the true essence of military service lies in civic duty, compassion, and community welfare.
