𝐇𝐄𝐀𝐃𝐒 𝐔𝐏 | 𝐒𝐂𝐒𝐓𝐄 𝐀𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐃𝐄𝐃 & 𝐑𝐄𝐕𝐈𝐒𝐄𝐃 𝐂𝐁𝐋 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔

The Student Council of Science and Technology Education (SCSTE) formally releases its 𝗔𝗺𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗥𝗲𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗕𝘆-𝗟𝗮𝘄𝘀 (𝗖𝗕𝗟), 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, following its ratification and adoption during the 𝗦𝗖𝗦𝗧𝗘 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 on September 12, 2026.

The 2026 CBL introduces and strengthens provisions that provide a clearer framework for the Council’s organization, governance, responsibilities, and operations.

The revisions cover key areas, including organizational structure and officer functions, meetings and procedures, accountability, finance, electoral rules, and the amendment process, reflecting the Council’s current organizational structure and direction.

𝗥𝗘: A Resolution Ratifying and Adopting the Amended and Revised Constitution and By-Laws of the Student Council of Science and Technology Education (SCSTE)

The Student Council of Science and Technology Education (SCSTE) convened its Constitutional Convention on September 12, 2026, to deliberate on the proposed amendments and revisions to the Council’s Constitution and By-Laws (CBL).

With 38 out of 61 members recorded in attendance, the Convention established the required quorum and proceeded with the presentation, article-by-article deliberation, and final review of the proposed Amended and Revised Constitution and By-Laws of the SCSTE.

Following the deliberations and final review, the Convention proceeded to the final voting on the proposed Amended and Revised CBL. The measure received 27 affirmative votes, 0 objections, and 0 abstentions, meeting the required voting threshold for its adoption.

With the affirmative vote, the Amended and Revised SCSTE Constitution and By-Laws, 2026 was formally ratified and adopted through Resolution No. 005, s. 2026–2027, entitled “A Resolution Ratifying and Adopting the Amended and Revised Constitution and By-Laws of the Student Council of Science and Technology Education (SCSTE).”

The revised CBL provides an updated framework for the Council’s organization, governance, responsibilities, procedures, and operations, including provisions on student representation, organizational structure, officer functions, accountability, finance, elections, and future amendments and revisions.

The adoption of the CBL marks a significant organizational milestone for SCSTE as it continues to uphold inclusive participation, responsible governance, and student-centered service across the College of Science and Technology Education.

𝗦𝗖𝗦𝗧𝗘 𝗨𝗣𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗘𝗦 | 𝗗𝗘𝗠 𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗗𝗨𝗖𝗧𝗦 𝗢𝗥𝗜𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗔.𝗬. ’𝟮𝟲–’𝟮𝟳

September 16 — The Department of Events and Management (DEM) of the Student Council of Science and Technology Education (SCSTE) conducted its department orientation for Academic Year 2026–2027 on September 16 at 9:00 PM via Google Meet.

𝗗𝗘𝗠 𝗗𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗮 𝗔𝗻𝗻 𝗖. 𝗬𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗼 led the session, which opened with a brief kamustahan and the introduction of the department’s newly appointed officers and members. The orientation then proceeded with a discussion of DEM’s functions and roles to familiarize members with the department’s responsibilities.

The session also covered what members should prepare for their respective roles, along with sample works to provide them with a clearer understanding of the department’s expected outputs and tasks. Members were then assigned to their respective roles based on the department’s needs and responsibilities. Other matters concerning the department were also discussed.

The session concluded with the members having a clearer understanding of DEM’s functions, responsibilities, and assigned roles, setting the department for a productive and collaborative Academic Year 2026–2027.

𝗦𝗖𝗦𝗧𝗘 𝗨𝗣𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗘𝗦 | 𝗦𝗖𝗦𝗧𝗘 𝗦𝗨𝗖𝗖𝗘𝗦𝗦𝗙𝗨𝗟𝗟𝗬 𝗣𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗦 𝗔𝗪𝗙𝗣 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗔.𝗬. 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲–𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟳

September 14 — The Student Council of Science and Technology Education (SCSTE) successfully presented its Annual Work and Financial Plan (AWFP) for Academic Year 2026–2027 at the Office of Student Affairs.

The presentation was led by SCSTE President Mary Bliss Tactacon, Internal Vice-President Gene Marie Bajao, and External Vice-President Aizell Mae Casiño, who presented the council’s proposed plans, programs, and financial allocations for the academic year.

The AWFP was presented to Mr. John David O. Moncada, Head of the Student Welfare and Development Unit, for review and discussion.

The presentation marks another step in SCSTE’s preparations for Academic Year 2026–2027, as the council continues to align its plans and initiatives with its commitment to serving the students of the College of Science and Technology Education.

𝗦𝗖𝗦𝗧𝗘 𝗨𝗣𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗘𝗦 | 𝗦𝗖𝗦𝗧𝗘 𝗥𝗘𝗖𝗘𝗜𝗩𝗘𝗦 𝗙𝗜𝗥𝗦𝗧 𝗪𝗔𝗩𝗘 𝗢𝗙 𝗗𝗢𝗡𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗗𝗥𝗜𝗩𝗘

September 14 — The Student Council of Science and Technology Education (SCSTE) received the first wave of donations from various students on the first day of its donation drive for the families affected by the recent fire incident in Sitio Sta. Cruz, Lapsan.

The first day of the drive gathered various donations, including clothes and other essential items, as students extended their support to families who lost their homes, belongings, and other necessities due to the fire.

The donation drive will continue until Friday, September 18, and SCSTE continues to welcome donations from students and other individuals who wish to extend their assistance. All collected donations will be consolidated and prepared for distribution to the affected families.

SCSTE expresses its gratitude to all students who have already shared their resources and extended their support. The first wave of donations marks the beginning of the collective effort to provide assistance and comfort to those affected.
