The City Education and Development Department proudly launched the first leg of ISDA SAVES: The Bloodiest Campus Tour, marking a significant step in advancing the advocacy for voluntary blood donation in the community. Held on 5 March 2026 at the PHINMA Cagayan de Oro College Auditorium, the event brought together partners, volunteers, students, and faculty to support a life-saving mission.

In partnership with Northern Mindanao Medical Center, Department of Health โ€“ Northern Mindanao Regional Blood Center, and Virginia Food, Inc., the activity successfully mobilized the COCian community to champion the cause of voluntary blood donation.

Special thanks to Hon. Desiree โ€œDesโ€ Dahino for sponsoring and for supporting the welfare of our volunteer donors and participants throughout the activity.

Through the collective spirit of students, faculty, and volunteers, the event recorded 145 successful blood donors and 20 deferred donors who bravely stepped forward to help save lives. This milestone is just the beginning as ISDA SAVES continues its search for the Bloodiest Campusโ€”the school with the most committed blood donors dedicated to making a difference.
