Last August 6โ7, XU ChemSoc officers and members gathered together for two days of reflection, sharing, and synchronizing during IN SYNC: ChemSoc BOLTS 2026. The morning of the first day was filled with activity that strengthened bonds through formed teams, chants, and the Chemazing Race.
On the afternoon of the first day, the officers and members were endowed with wisdom and insights of student leadership by Justine Dave E. Paquit. In the evening of that same day, the officers and members were joined by Neil Ivan J. Cutob, sharing his journey as a former president of XU ChemSoc.
Later on in the evening, a Project Pitching was simulated to train the officers of conducting Project Proposals, Budgeting, and the feasibility of their planning and ideas, which was paneled by our ChemSoc Moderator Ms. Ann Marian Lou O. Eslopor.
Right after, the officers also gathered around a bonfire to share and reflect on their characters and learn to pass the flame and igniting the spark of leadership.
The rest of the evening was spent by everyone in a casual setting where slow conversations and fun banters took place that further deepened the bonds between teammates.
The second day concluded with the recognition of officers and facilitators who contributed to the success of the event. This would have not been possible without the leadership and diligence of our Project Head, Christian Dave B. Lloren.
Here's to a united XU ChemSoc, ready to move IN SYNC to the year ahead! ๐ฟ๐ฅ๐๐ช
