On March 31, 2026, West City Central School became a space of collaboration, learning, and appreciation as it hosted the Stakeholdersโ Convergence and Appreciation Day. The event highlighted the importance of unity among educators, parents, and the community in fostering a supportive environment for learners.
In line with this, 3rd Year LDCU Occupational Therapy students proudly presented their Community-Based Rehabilitation (CBR) project titled โEyes on Literacy: Multisensory Warm-Ups for Reading Readiness.โ This evidence-based workshop focused on enhancing childrenโs readiness for reading through engaging multisensory and movement activities, emphasizing the vital role of occupational therapy in education.
The day was filled with meaningful exchanges, shared goals, and a collective commitment to support childrenโs development. It was a celebration not only of achievements but also of partnerships that continue to empower learning communities.
A day of appreciation, collaboration, and purposeโbringing education and rehabilitation together for a brighter future.
