The College of Industrial Technology (COT) successfully conducted a five-day series of engagements for the 𝗢𝗝𝗧 & 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗠𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘂𝗺 𝗼𝗳 𝗔𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 (𝗠𝗢𝗔) 𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 from April 22 to 26, 2026, strengthening its commitment to academic excellence through industry collaboration.

The activity was led by 𝘋𝘳. 𝘌𝘳𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘰 𝘋. 𝘋𝘰𝘭𝘰𝘴𝘰 𝘑𝘳., 𝘊𝘢𝘮𝘱𝘶𝘴 𝘈𝘥𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘰𝘳, together with 𝘋𝘳. 𝘑𝘦𝘯𝘯𝘪𝘧𝘦𝘳 𝘝. 𝘗𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘻, 𝘊𝘖𝘛 𝘋𝘦𝘢𝘯, and 𝘔𝘴. 𝘋𝘺𝘢𝘯𝘢𝘳𝘢 𝘈𝘻𝘢ñ𝘢, 𝘉𝘚𝘏𝘔 𝘊𝘩𝘢𝘪𝘳𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘰𝘯. The initiative aimed to expand institutional linkages, enhance student training opportunities, and align academic programs with current industry standards.

Throughout the five-day engagement, the COT delegation visited several reputable industry partners across Laguna, Batangas, and Pasay, establishing and reinforcing partnerships vital for student immersion and professional development. Among the institutions visited were 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝗛𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗹 and 𝗣𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗼 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗛𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗹, both known for their quality hospitality services.

The group also engaged with key manufacturing and industrial partners, including 𝗧𝗼𝘆𝗼𝘁𝗮 𝗔𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗻 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀, 𝗟𝗮𝗺𝗰𝗼𝗿 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗿𝗽𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 and 𝗥𝘂𝗲𝘆 𝗦𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗥𝗲𝗳𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗘𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁. These visits provided valuable exposure to modern production processes, workplace standards, and industry practices relevant to BSIT programs.

Further expanding their industry network in the tourism and hospitality sector, the team visited 𝗧𝗮𝗴𝗮𝘆𝘁𝗮𝘆 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀, 𝗣𝗮𝗹𝗺 𝗕𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗼𝗿𝘁, 𝗘𝗮𝗴𝗹𝗲 𝗣𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁 𝗕𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗗𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗼𝗿𝘁, and 𝗨𝗿𝗯𝗮𝗻 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗛𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗹. These visits provided valuable insights into industry operations, service standards, and emerging trends relevant to COT programs.

A key highlight of the activity was the formal signing of 𝙈𝙚𝙢𝙤𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙪𝙢 𝙤𝙛 𝘼𝙜𝙧𝙚𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 (𝙈𝙊𝘼) with selected partner industries, aimed at providing structured OJT placements and strengthening long-term collaboration. These agreements ensure that students are equipped with practical, real-world experience that complements their academic learning.

This five-day initiative reflects COT’s continued dedication to bridging the gap between classroom instruction and industry demands. By fostering strong partnerships with diverse sectors, the college enhances the employability of its graduates and prepares them to meet the evolving needs of the workforce.

The College of Industrial Technology at Central Bicol State University of Agriculture is currently conducting the interview process for applicants to the Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management (BSHM) program.

ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT | BSHM at the International Stage 🌍

The Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management (BSHM) proudly celebrates the successful participation of its student researchers at the joint 7th ICEEA and 4th SHGBEE International Conference held on March 21, 2026, at Central Bicol State University of Agriculture.

Ms. Fiona Marie H. Reyta presented the research “Bamboo Shoot (Bambusa vulgaris) Kropek,” with Ms. Jessica B. Grajo as conference participant showcasing innovation in sustainable culinary practices and local resource utilization.

This milestone was made possible through the guidance of their Research Adviser Dr. Flordeliza S. Relloso and the support of Dean Dr. Jennifer V. Perez, alongside the generous sponsorship of Statean Association of Hospitality Management Students (SAHMS), who funded the conference participation.

🔥𝗜𝗚𝗡𝗜𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗕𝗟𝗔𝗭𝗘: 𝗖𝗕𝗦𝗨𝗔-𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗺𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹𝘀 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗞𝗶𝗰𝗸𝘀 𝗢𝗳𝗳!

The wait is over. The roar of the crowd and the spirit of "Stateans" excellence filled the air as 𝗖𝗕𝗦𝗨𝗔-𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮 launched the 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗺𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹𝘀 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 on February 23. This year’s theme, "𝑺𝒕𝒓𝒐𝒏𝒈𝒆𝒓 𝑻𝒐𝒈𝒆𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓 𝒊𝒏 𝑺𝒑𝒐𝒓𝒕𝒔: 𝑫𝒆𝒇𝒚𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑳𝒊𝒎𝒊𝒕𝒔, 𝑰𝒈𝒏𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑹𝒆𝒔𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒆," isn't just a slogan, it’s the energy currently surging through every athlete on the field.

The day began with purpose through the "𝑾𝒂𝒍𝒌 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝑬𝒄𝒐-𝑭𝒓𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒅𝒍𝒚 𝑨𝒈𝒓𝒊-𝑭𝒊𝒔𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒚." More than just a parade, this march saw students and faculty uniting to prove that our passion for sports goes hand-in-hand with our commitment to a sustainable future.

Under the leadership of our 𝑫𝒆𝒂𝒏, 𝑫𝒓. 𝑱𝒆𝒏𝒏𝒊𝒇𝒆𝒓 𝑷𝒆𝒓𝒆𝒛, the COT Blazing Fire (Matatag) proved exactly why we carry that name. In a massive early-game statement, COT claimed the victory in the Flag Raising competition, proving that our precision and discipline are second to none. While others are still warming up, the Blazing Fire is already bringing the heat!

The morning peaked during the Cheerdance Competition, where the COT Blazing Fire, COE Whirling Wind, and CAS Surging Water (alongside LHS) battled it out in a display of stunts and synchronization. While the 𝗖𝗔𝗦 𝗦𝘂𝗿𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗪𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 secured their back-to-back title defense, the resilience shown by all departments, especially our very own COT, set the tone for the grueling competitions ahead.

To the Blazing Fire: 𝙎𝙩𝙖𝙮 𝙈𝙖𝙩𝙖𝙩𝙖𝙜! Let’s keep this momentum going! 🛠️🔥
