Last July 27, 2026, the College of Arts and Sciences officially welcomed its newest Phoenixes during the CAS Peer Orientation and General Assembly, marking the beginning of another exciting academic year in the Chamber of the Best and the Brightest.
The event introduced our freshmen to the CAS community while providing valuable insights into the college's Program Educational Objectives (PEOs), academic journey, and student life. Students also listened to the State of the College's Address, reflecting on the milestones and accomplishments that shaped the college over the past year.
The excitement continued with interactive activities such as Act Like You Mean It, raffle draws, and the presentation of the College's future plans and initiatives, inspiring every CASmate to embrace the opportunities that lie ahead and become active contributors to the continued growth of the College of Arts and Sciences.
As we embark on another academic year, may this gathering serve as a reminder that every beginning holds endless possibilities. Together, let us learn, lead, serve, and create meaningful experiences as we continue to build a stronger and more vibrant CAS community.
