We were deeply privileged to hear from our Guest of Honor, 𝗠𝘀. 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗹𝘆𝗻 𝗦. 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗵𝗲𝘇, 𝗟𝗣𝗧, 𝗥𝗣𝘀𝘆, whose moving address imparted a guiding philosophy: “𝙒𝙚 𝙡𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙣, 𝙒𝙚 𝙙𝙤𝙣'𝙩 𝙟𝙪𝙙𝙜𝙚. 𝙏𝙖𝙤 𝙢𝙪𝙣𝙖 𝙗𝙖𝙜𝙤 𝙩𝙞𝙩𝙪𝙡𝙤. Amidst the noise, a sanctuary was found. Last May 02, 2026, the PsyCHE Outgoing Constitutional Officers and the Board of Committees gathered in the quiet corners of Brgy. Pansol, Calamba City, to reconnect—not just with one another, but with their inner selves.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝘀 𝗮 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 "𝗵𝗼𝗺𝗲" 𝗶𝘀𝗻'𝘁 𝗮𝗹𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗮 𝗽𝗵𝘆𝘀𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻; 𝗼𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗻, 𝗶𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝘁 𝘁𝗼𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗶𝗻 𝗺𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀. As these leaders conclude their term, the event highlighted that leadership comes with the responsibility of ensuring every voice is valued and understood, even in the quietest moments of service.

To bridge the gap between silence and action, the members participated in a Filipino Sign Language (FSL) Seminar entitled "𝗣𝘀𝘆𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝟮: 𝗦𝗶𝗴𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗱: 𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗠𝗲𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗻𝘀." This initiative emphasized that true leaders break barriers and actively create spaces where everyone belongs. By learning to communicate beyond words, they explored the intersection of mental health advocacy and inclusive communication.

At Hantungan, the PsyCHE leadership found their way home, fostering a deeper understanding that leadership isn't just about speaking for others, but about ensuring that even the unspoken is heard.
