We are on 3D Anatomy!

We are continuously improving our Learning Strategies, this time with the utilization of Ginkgomed “3D Anatomy Software (3DAS)” in partnership with Sterling Scientific Marketing.

With this, we’re proud that our first year nursing students in their Anatomy and Physiology Laboratory were able to benefit on this first 3DAS that uses real human dissected specimens in the world.

Our nursing students’ hands-on laboratory yielded opportunity to explore and learn from the numerous collection of precious digital images of real plastinated human specimens of the human body. Indeed, a unique positive experience from the traditional pen, paper and model.

The “A” component of our 5-STAR ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Nursing stands for Availability of Continuing Professional Development (CPD). True to this, Ma. Dorothy D. Balmes of BSN 2A, one of our Dean’s Listers attended the Association of Deans of Philippine Colleges of Nursing, Inc. (ADPCN) National Conference for Nursing Students last October 4, 2026 in Manila Hotel.

Student Nurse Dorothy participated in the conference all-expenses-paid arranged by the College of Nursing as a reward of her hard work accompanied by Dean Nico, and our Coordinators Prof. Eva and Prof. Kamil respectively.

Assurance to our Nursing Students

We continue to find ways on how we can continuously improve our learning strategies. True to this, we recently conducted a special class and laboratory sessions for our first year nursing students.

This Anatomy and Physiology sessions were conducted by Simulationists from our partner HCT Academy - utilizing its unique and immersive Virtual Reality (VR) technology. Aside from routine parts identification, the immersive VR also yielded opportunity to interact with simulated patients on patient care areas. This also strengthens communication skills of our nursing students which is critical as an effective nurse.
