Our 𝙄𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙣𝙨 successfully conducted an 𝙀𝙫𝙖𝙘𝙪𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝘿𝙧𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝘿𝙚𝙢𝙤 at 𝙍𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙂𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙙, demonstrating proper 𝙀𝙢𝙚𝙧𝙜𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙮 𝙍𝙚𝙨𝙥𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙚, effective 𝙏𝙚𝙖𝙢𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙠, and strong 𝙎𝙖𝙛𝙚𝙩𝙮 𝘼𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨.

This activity aims to enhance preparedness, promote quick and organized action during emergencies, and reinforce the importance of 𝙎𝙖𝙛𝙚𝙩𝙮 𝙖𝙩 𝘼𝙡𝙡 𝙏𝙞𝙢𝙚𝙨.

We successfully conducted an 𝘏𝘐𝘝 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘈𝘐𝘋𝘚 𝘈𝘤𝘵 𝘈𝘸𝘢𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘴 𝘊𝘢𝘮𝘱𝘢𝘪𝘨𝘯 through booth-based activities and room-to-room information dissemination, including the 𝙙𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙞𝙗𝙪𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙤𝙛 𝙃𝙄𝙑 𝙥𝙧𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙩𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙘𝙚𝙨, 𝙞𝙣𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙢𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙢𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙖𝙡𝙨, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙚𝙙𝙪𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙛𝙡𝙮𝙚𝙧𝙨.

This initiative aimed to 𝙚𝙙𝙪𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙚, promote 𝙃𝙄𝙑 𝙥𝙧𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣, and encourage 𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙥𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙞𝙗𝙡𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙞𝙣𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙢𝙚𝙙 𝙝𝙚𝙖𝙡𝙩𝙝 𝙥𝙧𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙘𝙚𝙨. Through direct engagement and open discussions, we worked to 𝙧𝙖𝙞𝙨𝙚 𝙖𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨, 𝙧𝙚𝙙𝙪𝙘𝙚 𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙜𝙢𝙖, and 𝙚𝙢𝙥𝙤𝙬𝙚𝙧 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙮 with accurate knowledge—supporting 𝙝𝙚𝙖𝙡𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙚𝙧 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙨𝙖𝙛𝙚𝙧 𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙞𝙘𝙚𝙨 for all.

The 𝐅𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐭𝐡-𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐓𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐦 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 have officially been deployed to various 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐥 𝐀𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐬 for their 𝐎𝐧-𝐭𝐡𝐞-𝐉𝐨𝐛 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 (𝐎𝐉𝐓).

This deployment marks an important 𝐚𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐜 𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐞, giving students the opportunity to gain 𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐬-𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐲 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞, develop 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐬𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬, and apply 𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐦 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 in real-world travel operations. Through this training, they are exposed to essential travel agency functions such as 𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬, 𝐜𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐫 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞, 𝐝𝐨𝐜𝐮𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, and 𝐭𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐜𝐨𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧.

𝗥𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝘀! Today was truly a day filled with learning and unforgettable experiences. They had the chance to perform the 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗘𝘃𝗮𝗰𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗗𝗿𝗶𝗹𝗹 and the 𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝗗𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 inside the aircraft—something they usually only read about or practice in a classroom setting. Being inside the actual aircraft allowed them to understand the 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘭 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘤𝘦𝘥𝘶𝘳𝘦𝘴, the importance of quick response, and the responsibilities that come with ensuring passenger safety.

After the drills, they also enjoyed a guided aircraft tour at 𝗗𝗣𝗥 𝗔𝘃𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 in Plaridel, Bulacan. The students explored the aircraft interior, learned about different equipment, and saw a closer look at 𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 behind the scenes.

Our 3rd year Tourism students just joined the 𝗙𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗼 𝗕𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗘𝘅𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 (𝗙𝗕𝗦𝗘) 𝗦𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗿 — gaining 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀, 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀, and a deeper love for 𝗙𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗼 𝗵𝗼𝘀𝗽𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆.

It was an enriching experience that highlighted the importance of embodying 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱-𝗰𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 while staying true to our uniquely warm and genuine 𝗙𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗼 𝘃𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗲𝘀. Through this seminar, our students learned how to deliver 𝗲𝘅𝗰𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲, handle guests with 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗺, and become proud 𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗱𝗼𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲.

3rd Year Tourism Students – Final Showcase!

Our talented 3rd year students have officially completed their finals in Professional Development and Tour Guiding subject

The event consisted of a spectacular Showcase of Professional and Personal Branding and the students were utterly assured in front of the audience and were able to display their uniqueness, strengths and what they wanted to be in the future. The way they have developed in constructing their identity in the industry is evident in their professional outfits to their well-developed presentations.

They were also talented in their Mock Job Tour Guiding which indicated the skills of communication, storytelling and the enthusiasm of marketing culture, destinations and memorable experiences. Their self assurance and commitment show their willingness to move into the reality of the tourism and hospitality professions.

We are also so pleased with their diligence, innovative spirit, and dedication during the semester. Future leaders in the industry, congratulations, you are only starting!

Our Hospitality and Tourism Management celebrated its Pre-Internship Seminar and Pinning Ceremony 2025 and showcased itself as a major academic and professional achievement in the lives of our students in Hospitality and Tourism Management. It is an annual event that involves the preparation and induction of our future practitioners in the hospitality and tourism industries as they leave the classroom and get into the industry.

The seminar helped give the necessary advice on how to act professionally, what is expected of us in the workplace, what the industry demands of us and the importance of service excellence- that our students are prepared, informed and capable to represent the department in an upright manner.
Pinning Ceremony represents an individual commitment by every student to the principles of hospitality, professionalism and ethical service. This is a reminder of their duty and the prospects that they stand to get in the active worldwide hospitality and tourism industry.

The department congratulates all the participating students immensely. We congratulate your efforts, commitment, and willingness to start this new phase of your educational life. I hope this experience will lead to your development, strength, and success in your profession.
