On September 26, 2026, the Divine Word College of Calapan ROTC Unit successfully conducted its 4th ROTC Training Day.

The morning commenced at exactly 0745H at the open court with formation and attendance, establishing a disciplined and organized start to the day's activities.

Following the attendance, the basic cadets proceeded to lecture room for a series of informative and practical training lectures facilitated by representatives from the 12th Special Forces Company (Riverine), 4th SFBN, SOCOM PA.

The training covered the following topics about West Philippine Sea Issues, Basic Life Support (BLS) and Basic Signal Communication.

The lectures provided the cadets with valuable knowledge and practical skills relevant to their development, preparedness, and responsibilities as future members of the Armed Forces and responsible citizens.

The activity officially concluded at 1200H, marking another productive and meaningful training day for the DWCC ROTC Unit.

On September 19, 2026, the Divine Word College of Calapan ROTC Unit successfully conducted its 3rd ROTC Training Day, featuring the Physical Fitness Test (PFT) for all Basic Cadets.

The activity commenced at 0745H at the Open Court with morning formation and attendance, followed by proper stretching and warm-up exercises to prepare the cadets for the physical assessments.

Under the supervision of the ROTC Officers, led by Corps Commander C/LTC Jestlie F Galos (1CL), and with the guidance of ROTC Coordinator Ms. Sacha Pollyne M. Austria, RCRIM., MSCJ., the PFT assessed the cadets’ physical fitness, strength, endurance, and overall readiness.

The activity officially concluded at 1020H, marking another successful training session focused on developing discipline, resilience, teamwork, and physical preparedness among the cadets.

On September 19, 2026, the Divine Word College of Calapan (DWCC) ROTC Unit successfully conducted a Clean-Up Drive in observance of International Coastal Cleanup Day 2026.

The activity commenced at 0530H, as ROTC Basic Cadets together with other NSTP components gathered in their designated area and actively worked together to remove trash and debris from coastal areas and key community locations. Through collective effort and active participation, the students contributed to maintaining a cleaner, safer, and healthier environment.

The Clean-Up Drive served not only as an opportunity to promote environmental awareness but also as a meaningful expression of the commitment to community service and responsible citizenship.
