The School of Information Technology successfully conducted the Acing Interview & Resume Building and Personality Development & Effective Communication Training on September 10 and 15, 2026, at COMPLAB 1. The training provided valuable preparation for fourth-year BSIT students as they get ready for their internship and future career opportunities.

The sessions focused on developing essential professional skills, including resume building, interview preparation, personality development, and effective communication. Facilitated by ๐——๐—ฟ. ๐—ค๐˜‚๐—ฒ๐—ป๐—ป๐—ถ๐—ฒ ๐—•๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ฑ๐—ฎ๐—น๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐—ถ๐—ฎ, ๐—Ÿ๐—ฃ๐—ง, the training provided practical strategies and valuable insights to help students build confidence, communicate effectively, and present themselves professionally.

Through meaningful discussions and activities, participants gained knowledge and skills that can support them as they prepare for internships and future careers. The School of Information Technology successfully conducted the Digital Essentials: Basic Computer Skills & Application Training on August 27 and September 15, 2026, at COMPLAB 2. The sessions were designed to help first-year BSIT students become familiar with essential digital platforms and systems they will use throughout their academic journey.

The training focused on guiding students on how to properly access and navigate the File Server, DWCC LMS/MAMS, and Google Workspace. As the sessions were hosted and managed by SIT officers, they also shared their own experiences, practical tips, and insights to help students become more prepared and confident in navigating their responsibilities and experiences as IT students.

Through these sessions, students gained practical knowledge of the platforms they will use while also receiving valuable insights from their fellow Experts. The training served as an opportunity to help first-year students become more familiar with the digital tools and experiences that await them within the School of Information Technology.
