𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟮𝟬, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 — [𝗦𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻]

The Institute of Education of the City College of Calapan and Stairway Foundation Inc. officially signed a Memorandum of Agreement today at Aninuan, Puerto Galera, formalizing a partnership to provide pre-service teachers with a transformative e-learning course on Child Protection Policy.

The MOA signing was graced by Ronald F. Cantos, DPA, College Administrator, and other key officials of City College of Calapan: Mr. Armando M. Lamboloto, BSED Science Program Chair; Ms. Nelma L. Viaña, BSNEd Program Chair; and Mr. Noel A. Comia, CCC CES Coordinator, alongside Mr. Lars C. Jorgensen, Executive Director, and Ms. Monica D. Ray, Creative Director, representing Stairway Foundation.

Through this collaboration, the partnership aims to:

✅ Provide pre-service teachers with access to Stairway Foundation’s Child Protection E-Learning Courses and related learning resources as part of their professional preparation
✅ Strengthen future educators’ understanding of children’s rights, child protection, safeguarding principles, and appropriate responses to child protection concerns — including online safety risks
✅ Integrate child protection education into CCC’s teacher education program to better prepare students for field study and practice teaching
✅ Promote child safeguarding and rights-based practices, empowering future educators to build safe, inclusive, and protective learning environments in the schools and communities they will serve

This partnership marks a significant step toward equipping the next generation of teachers in Oriental Mindoro with the knowledge and tools to protect and champion children’s rights.

𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐆𝐍𝐀𝐍 | ‎AFTERCLASS BAND ITINANGHAL NA KAMPYON SA GABI NG KABATAAN
‎
‎Dumagundong at nagniningning ang Gabi ng Kabataan matapos itanghal na kampyon ang AfterClass Band ng City College of Calapan sa ginanap na Inter-School Battle of the Bands. Ang patimpalak ay kabilang sa masiglang pagdiriwang ng Linggo ng Kabataan, nitong ika-15 ng Agosto.

‎Ipinamalas ng bawat miyembro ang kanilang husay at galing sa larangan ng musika na binubuo nina Vanessa Deimos at Jan Loid Baliguat bilang mga bokalista, kasama sina Shane Umali bilang lead guitarist, Heyden Casuga sa rhythm guitar, Lance Andrew Caraan sa bass, Niekvan Camara sa drums, at Julius Miguel Lasic sa keyboard.

Bukod sa kampyeonato, nagwagi rin bilang Best Vocals sina Vanessa Deimos at Jan Loid Balinguat gayundin si Niekvan Camara bilang Best Drummer.

‎Ang tagumpay na ito ay higit pa sa tropeyo, ito ay gantimpala ng kanilang pagsisikap, tiyaga, at pagkakaisa bilang isang banda. Ang kanilang pagkapanalo ay labis na ipinagmamalaki sa komunidad ng dalubhasaan. Tunay na iniwan ng AfterClass Band ang isang kahanga-hangang musika, walang mintis na tono at walang sinayang na ritmo kaya naman maraming nakaabang sa kanilang sunod na pagtugtog pagkatapos ng klase
