𝐂𝐊𝐂-𝐈𝐓𝐄 𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐃𝐔𝐂𝐓𝐒 𝐏𝐑𝐄-𝐃𝐄𝐏𝐋𝐎𝐘𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓 𝐎𝐑𝐈𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝐅𝐎𝐑 𝟒𝐓𝐇-𝐘𝐄𝐀𝐑 𝐏𝐑𝐄-𝐒𝐄𝐑𝐕𝐈𝐂𝐄 𝐓𝐄𝐀𝐂𝐇𝐄𝐑𝐒

The Christ the King College of Calbayog City, Inc. - Institute of Teacher Education (CKC-ITE) conducted its Pre-Deployment Orientation for fourth-year pre-service teachers today, September 12, 2026, at the CKC Audio Visual Room, in preparation for their upcoming Field Study deployment at the CKC Integrated Basic Education Department (CKC-IBED), the laboratory school of Christ the King College of Calbayog City, Inc. and partner of CKC-ITE in providing authentic in-campus learning experiences.

The orientation was facilitated by Mr. Rolando A. Casaljay II, BEEd and BSEd Student Internship Program Coordinator, who discussed the policies, standards, and guidelines governing the deployment of pre-service teachers, anchored on DepEd Order No. 3, s. 2007 and JDCMO No. 1, s. 2021. The session also covered the schedule of duty, general requirements, calendar of activities, and grading system, providing the pre-service teachers with essential information and expectations for their Field Study experience.

The activity served as a preparatory step toward the pre-service teachers’ transition from theory to practice, equipping them with the knowledge, responsibilities, and professional expectations necessary as they begin their field-based learning experience at CKC-IBED. Through this deployment, CKC-ITE continues to strengthen the preparation of future educators through meaningful exposure to authentic teaching and learning environments.
