Northwestern Samar State University successfully conducted the symposium โ€œ๐—›๐—ฒ๐—ฎ๐—น, ๐—ฃ๐—ฟ๐—ผ๐˜๐—ฒ๐—ฐ๐˜, ๐—ง๐—ฟ๐—ฎ๐—ป๐˜€๐—ณ๐—ผ๐—ฟ๐—บ: Integrated Health Sessions on Mental Wellness and Anti-Sexual Harassmentโ€ on December 06, 2025 at the Business Development Center. The activity was spearheaded by the University Health Center in collaboration with the Graduate School, Guidance Office, Gender and Development Office, NSTP Faculty, and BPED 3 students.

The event featured Dr. Ofelia Amores Monesit-Abayan, who delivered an insightful session on Mental Wellness, and Atty. Ma. Cecile Candida Yabao-Rueda, who discussed essential guidelines and protections related to Anti-Sexual Harassment. Their messages provided meaningful guidance and strengthened the understanding of the attendees.

The University remains committed to promoting mental well-being, safety, and a respectful environment for all members of the campus community.

On October 10, 2025, the Human Kinetic Circle (HKC) proudly held its First General Assembly on the 4th floor of the College of Education, NwSSU - Main Campus. This milestone event also served as a belated celebration of Teachersโ€™ Day, honoring the passion and commitment of our beloved educators, Mr. Remelito T. Labasbas, Mr. Julif B. Calesa, and Mr. Alwin R. Mondido Jr.

The gathering was not just a celebration but also an important platform where key discussions were made and members are highly encouraged to stay informed and engaged with the matters shared and discussed during the assembly.

Additionally, this event would not have been possible without the collaboration, unity, and unwavering support of each HKC member. Your presence, energy, and commitment are what brought this vision to life.
