FLY HIGH, YOUNG FILMMAKERS | UE Cal. Student Org Invites Student Moviemakers to Latest โCinemandirigmaโ
Silangan Film Circle, a recognized student organization of the University of the East-Caloocan, is opening its doors to student filmmakers through a call for submissions for the latest edition of its annual film festival, Cinemandirigma XII: Lipad!
This 12th year of the SFCโs film fest promises various events, talks and activities aimed at further piquing the student bodyโs interest and engagement with narratives through film and storytelling.
The Cinemandirigma XII call for film submissions is welcoming all student filmmakers interested in showcasing their films to a wider audience. Submissions will remain open only until March 14, 2026.
The festival has three categories: Narrative, Documentary and Experimental.
Qualified entries will be pre-screened on March 23, 24, and 26 at MPH 1 and MPH 2 of the UE College of Engineering-Caloocan Building. This will succeed an opening event by the SFC to announce all the selected films, to be held on March 16 at MPH 3 at the Dr. Lucio C. Tan Building.
The Cinemandirigma XII awarding ceremony will unfold on March 30 at the UE Caloocan Conference Hall, on the 11th floor fo the Tan Yan Kee Academic Building.
