WCC ATC North Manila Hosts Successful DepEd Monitoring Visit

On Monday, February 2, 2026, the DepEd Monitoring Team visited WCC Aeronautical and Technological College-North Manila, for a comprehensive evaluation using the DepEd standard monitoring tool for private schools. Key areas assessed included curriculum compliance, instructional facilities, faculty qualifications, learner outcomes, and quality assurance processes.
The DepEd Monitoring Team comprises of:

• Dr. Ivee S. Perez, Chief Education Supervisor, SGOD, Division Lead Monitor
• Dr. Jovanny L. Cornelia, PSDS, SHS Focal Person

• Ms. Anabel L. Oblipias, Nurse II
• Ms. Lani Grace C. Argarin, Nurse II

The DepEd Team focused on these key areas in the monitoring tool:
• School Management and Operations,
• Curriculum Implementation and Learner Support,
• Instructional Facilities and Learner Outcomes, and
• School’s Asset Management and Human Resources Administration
The team commended our compliance across all areas, particularly praising our state-of-the-art laboratories, hands-on training programs aligned with industry standards, and robust quality assurance systems integrating AI-driven learner assessments. They highlighted our innovative practices in technical-vocational education, including sustainable curriculum enhancements tied to SDGs and strong faculty development initiatives that boost student employability in aviation sectors.
