UCC, founded in 1971 as Caloocan Community College, converted to Caloocan City Polytechnic College by virtue of Municipal Ordinance No. 2295 s. 1975 and finally into a University on Feb. 9, 2004, is an institution of higher learning that prioritizes admission to the youths of Caloocan City where they get trained and exposed to timely careers with the primary aim of producing socially aware and pro

ductive members of the City of Caloocan. Presently catering to almost 12,000 students in 5 campuses: Sangandaan, Tandang Sora Annex, Buena Park, Camarin Annex and Camarin Voctech - with up and coming two new campuses in the North and South of the City, under the leadership of Dr. Cesar B.

The University of Caloocan City (UCC) - College of Education demonstrated academic excellence after recording outstanding results in the March 2026 Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET).

Leading this yearโ€™s achievement is ๐— ๐˜€. ๐—˜๐—ฟ๐—ถ๐—ฐ๐—ฎ ๐— ๐—ฎ๐—ฐ๐—ผ๐—ฟ๐—ผ๐—น from the Bachelor of Early Childhood Education program, who successfully secured ๐—ง๐—ข๐—ฃ ๐Ÿต in the March 2026 Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET). Her accomplishment reflects the dedication, perseverance, and excellence continuously upheld by the University and its future educators.

The College of Education also posted institutional passing rates that surpassed the national averages in both the Elementary and Secondary levels:
