In view of the upcoming University Games scheduled from May 11 to May 15, 2026, all scheduled classes falling within these dates shall observe an asynchronous learning modality to allow full participation in the week-long event.
Also, please be advised that classes on May 9, 2026 (Saturday) shall also adhere to online asynchronous learning mode to accommodate the necessary preparations for room utilization of the arriving delegates.

Today, April 23, the National Library of the Philippines joins the global observance of World Book and Copyright Day, highlighting books and reading as drivers of education, equality, and sustainable development. In support of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, literature empowers individuals and communities through knowledge and creativity.
Books connect generations, preserve cultures, and give voice to diverse stories, including indigenous languages under the International Decade of Indigenous Languages. Protecting literary works through copyright ensures that creators are recognized and their contributions sustained.

In light of the sudden shift to online classes, the library will consider granting extensions on borrowed books, including those that are already due.

This measure is intended to assist borrowers who are currently unable to return materials on time due to limited access to the campus.

As we wrap up our Palentine’s Day and Reading Month Celebration, we look back with gratitude and pride for the joy, learning, and connection we shared. 💖📚
