In line with the declaration of a national energy emergency under Executive Order No. 110, s. 2026 and pursuant to CHED Memorandum No. 117, s. 2026, Cavite State University shall implement a flexible learning modalities for the remaining weeks of Second Semester, AY 2025–2026 and Midyear Classes.

Today, April 11, the Central Student Government held its first virtual emergency meeting via Google Meet in response to the recent situation on campus.

Headed by President Mr. Andy Balmaceda, the council discussed and outlined key measures designed to safeguard student welfare and ensure the continuity of academic activities amidst current challenges and upcoming events.

The organization reaffirms its commitment to guiding and supporting the student body during this period fostering resilience and preparedness.

✅ Classes will transition to 𝐚𝐬𝐲𝐧𝐜𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐦𝐨𝐝𝐞 following high heat index and/or typhoon monitoring from:
• PAGASA (DOST)
• CvSU-DIWA
• Department of Health
• Local Government Units
• NDRRMC
• Office of the University President

✅ In the 𝐚𝐛𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐚𝐧 𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐚𝐝𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐨𝐫𝐲, the university shall adopt a shift to asynchronous mode when the heat index reaches 𝟒𝟐°𝐂.

✅ Declaration of class suspension shall be on a 𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐤𝐥𝐲 𝐛𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐬.

Ngayong araw sa ating kasaysayan ay ginugunita natin ang Araw ng Kagitingan—isang makasaysayang simbolismo ng kabayanihan, kahusayan, at katapangan na ipinahayag ng mga beteranong Pilipino na lumaban para sa kalayaan noong Ikalawang Digmaang Pandaigdig.
