Each component offers a distinct way for young Filipinos to contribute to their communities and country.

The Reserve Command, Philippine Army recognizes that every path under NSTP can help shape responsible and service-oriented citizens. For those who aspire to develop leadership, discipline, and readiness while answering the call to serve, ROTC offers a meaningful opportunity to take that commitment further. Through training and experience, future cadets can build the foundation needed for national service and pursue a path toward becoming commissioned officers in the Armed Forces of the Philippines Reserve Force.

The training day commenced at the SorSU Castilla Campus Field with the cadets conducting attendance checking, and basic military drills led by ๐‚๐จ๐ซ๐ฉ ๐‚๐จ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐š๐ง๐๐ž๐ซ ๐—–/๐—Ÿ๐—ง๐—– ๐—”๐—ฟ๐—ถ๐˜€๐˜๐—ผ๐˜๐—น๐—ฒ ๐—๐—ผ๐—ต๐—ป ๐—Ÿ ๐—˜๐˜€๐—ฝ๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ผ ๐Ÿญ๐—–๐—Ÿ

After the practical drills, the cadets proceeded to the FTC Hall for an informative and meaningful lecture on ๐— ๐—œ๐—Ÿ๐—œ๐—ง๐—”๐—ฅ๐—ฌ ๐—›๐—œ๐—ฆ๐—ง๐—ข๐—ฅ๐—ฌ ๐—˜๐—ฉ๐—ข๐—Ÿ๐—จ๐—ง๐—œ๐—ข๐—ก delivered by ๐—ฆ๐—ด๐˜ ๐—๐—ฎ๐˜† ๐—— ๐—๐—ข๐—ฉ๐—˜๐—ก (๐—ฅ๐—ฒ๐˜€) ๐—ฃ๐—” The lecture provided the cadets with invaluable insights about Military history, how was started and evolve through the years essential for leadership in military.

The day started with Orientation: Proper bearings (haircut, tucked in etc.), the training featured discussions on the ROTC Grading system and Benefits, the cadets were given an essential overview of the ROTC program, establishing the foundation of military discipline, duties, and core values expected of them throughout the academic year, led by ๐—–๐—ฃ๐—Ÿ ๐—ก๐—ข๐—ฅ๐—ช๐—œ๐—ก ๐—š ๐—š๐—œ๐—ก๐—˜๐—ญ (๐—œ๐—ก๐—™), ๐—ฃ๐—” ๐—–๐—ต๐—ถ๐—ฒ๐—ณ ๐—–๐—น๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐—ธ ๐—ผ๐—ณ ๐—ฆ๐—ผ๐—ฟ๐˜€๐—ผ๐—ด๐—ผ๐—ป ๐—ฆ๐˜๐—ฎ๐˜๐—ฒ ๐—จ๐—ป๐—ถ๐˜ƒ๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐˜€๐—ถ๐˜๐˜† ๐—ฅ๐—ข๐—ง๐—– ๐—จ๐—ก๐—œ๐—ง.

The activity laid a strong foundation for the semester as continues to mold disciplined, committed, and service-oriented future leaders.
