The HARAPAN 2026: Miting de Avance provides the candidates for the Supreme Student Council (SSC) Election 2026 an opportunity to present their platforms, programs, priorities, and plans for the SorSU–Castilla Campus student body.

More importantly, this is your opportunity to ask the questions that matter.

Students are invited to submit questions for the candidates concerning student welfare, academics, campus services, student organizations, leadership, transparency, governance, and other concerns affecting the student community.

With vibrant Coachella-inspired outfits, lively performances, and unforgettable moments, SORSUVERSE IV promises to strengthen camaraderie and highlight the spirit of SorSU. 🌈🎶

𝑻𝒉𝒆𝒎𝒆: 𝑫𝒊𝒇𝒇𝒆𝒓𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝑪𝒐𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒙𝒕𝒔, 𝑪𝒐𝒎𝒎𝒐𝒏 𝑨𝒔𝒑𝒊𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒔

The Supreme Student Council Officers, together with other Student Organization Officers, proudly joined the Sorsoganon Youth Summit 2026, yesterday, September 23, 2026 at the Sorsogon Provincial Gymnasium, Capitol Compound.

The summit gathered student leaders and participants from different universities and colleges across Sorsogon, creating a vibrant space for collaboration and shared vision. Joining the students was 𝑴𝒔. 𝑱𝒆𝒏𝒏𝒊𝒇𝒆𝒓 𝑯. 𝑴𝒆𝒓𝒄𝒊𝒏𝒆, 𝘚𝘵𝘶𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘊𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘤𝘪𝘭 𝘈𝘧𝘧𝘢𝘪𝘳𝘴 𝘊𝘰𝘰𝘳𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘵𝘰𝘳, who supported and guided the delegation throughout the program.

The one-day program featured four dynamic sessions led by distinguished speakers:

𝘓𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘢𝘨𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘛𝘦𝘤𝘩-𝘌𝘯𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘦𝘥 𝘊𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘐𝘯𝘥𝘶𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘺 𝘣𝘺 𝘑𝘢𝘺𝘢 𝘍. 𝘑𝘢𝘳𝘢𝘣𝘦𝘫𝘰 (𝘋𝘛𝘐) – unlocking opportunities for youth in the digital creative economy.

𝘌𝘥𝘶𝘤𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘔𝘰𝘥𝘦𝘳𝘯 𝘞𝘰𝘳𝘭𝘥 𝘣𝘺 𝘋𝘳. 𝘊𝘢𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘦 𝘈. 𝘋𝘦 𝘊𝘢𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘰 (𝘚𝘚𝘜) – emphasizing adaptive learning and future-ready leadership.

𝘓𝘢𝘣 𝘵𝘰 𝘞𝘰𝘳𝘭𝘥 𝘣𝘺 𝘗𝘢𝘵𝘳𝘪𝘤𝘪𝘢 𝘈𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘴 (𝘋𝘖𝘚𝘛) – transforming research into real-world solutions for communities.

A highlight of the program was the discussion on 𝑨𝒓𝒕𝒊𝒇𝒊𝒄𝒊𝒂𝒍 𝑰𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒍𝒍𝒊𝒈𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒆 (𝑨𝑰). Speakers underscored that AI is a powerful tool to enhance education, industries, and leadership, but it is not a replacement for human creativity, empathy, and decision-making. The youth were encouraged to embrace AI responsibly—using it to amplify human potential while keeping values and humanity at the core.

With meaningful exchanges and collaborative spirit, the summit became a platform where different contexts united into common aspirations—a vision of progress led by empowered Sorsoganon youth.

The students with the names indicated below are advised to proceed to the Scholarship and Financial Assistance Office at the FTC Building and look for Ma'am Maria Theresa M. Ragasa, the Scholarship and Financial Assistance Coordinator, for claiming of stipend/cash grant until Sept. 28, 2026 morning only (except Fridays). There will be no more extensions.

Please bring the following:
• 1 Long photocopy of school ID, affix 3 signatures (of the grantee)
• 1 Blue Ballpen

Note:
If the grantee is unable to personally receive their grant, they may authorize a representative on their behalf.
The representative must bring the following:
• Authorization letter (2 copies)
• 2 photocopies of school ID (long bond paper), affix 3 signatures of the grantee
• ID of the representative
• 1 Blue Ballpen

* If the representative is NOT an immediate family member of the grantee, a special power of attorney is required to receive the grant.

Yesterday, September 17, 2026, the Supreme Student Council - Castilla Campus proudly held its First General Assembly for Academic Year 2026–2027.

The program opened with Welcoming Remarks from our Campus Director, 𝑫𝒓. 𝑴𝒊𝒍𝒂𝒈𝒓𝒐𝒔 𝑵. 𝑬𝒃𝒖𝒆𝒏𝒈𝒂, followed by an inspiring message from the SSC Adviser, 𝑷𝒓𝒐𝒇. 𝑨𝒄𝒉𝒊𝒍𝒍𝒆𝒔 𝑮. 𝑯𝒐𝒏𝒂𝒔𝒂𝒏.

The assembly then highlighted accomplishment reports, financial updates, and important announcements that strengthened transparency and accountability.

To keep the energy alive, participants also enjoyed interactive games where students actively engaged and had fun, fostering camaraderie and school spirit.

This milestone event reflects our shared commitment to building a united, proactive, and service‑driven student community. 💙💛
