Note: A โ€œconditionalโ€ result means the examinee achieved an overall passing average but needs to retake one subject, based on PRC guidelines.

Your hard work and perseverance have paid offโ€”UEP is proud of you.

To our BSEE students, keep pushing and stay committed. Your time will come.

The College of Engineering successfully conducted a Laptop Turnover Ceremony today at the Accreditation Room, attended by the Dean of the College of Engineering, Department Chairs, College of Engineering Student Council President, student beneficiaries, and our valued donors.

The program commenced with a welcome message from Dean Rem Laodeรฑo, who expressed his sincere appreciation to the donors for their generosity and to the students for their continued dedication to their academic pursuits. This was followed by a message from Mr. Wolfgang Koester, who emphasized that this initiative was made possible through their partnerships and connections with large companies in Germany. He highlighted that access to technology is essential, not only for national development, but also for the growth of individuals, stressing that extending support to students who are most in need is a meaningful first step in making a difference. He further shared that this effort is only the beginning of a broader initiative to create more opportunities through technology.

The highlight of the ceremony was the formal turnover of five (5) units of laptops (๐‹๐ž๐ง๐จ๐ฏ๐จ ๐“๐ก๐ข๐ง๐ค๐๐š๐, ๐ˆ๐ง๐ญ๐ž๐ฅ ๐‚๐จ๐ซ๐ž ๐ข๐Ÿ“) to the following beneficiaries:

โ€ข Anthon Vince Turla โ€“ BS Civil Engineering
โ€ข Car Melo Malobago โ€“ BS Civil Engineering
โ€ข Dezon Amor โ€“ BS Mechanical Engineering
โ€ข Ivor Cuyog โ€“ BS Electrical Engineering

In response, the beneficiaries expressed their sincere gratitude, recognizing the importance of this support in their academic journey.

The program concluded with the awarding of Certificates of Appreciation to our generous donors, Engr. Mariven Turla and Mr. Wolfgang Koester, in recognition of their meaningful contribution to the College and its students.

This initiative reflects a shared commitment to fostering accessible and quality engineering education. Through collective efforts, the College of Engineering continues to open opportunities that empower students to grow, innovate, and succeed.

UEPians, please take this heat seriously.

With heat index levels reaching dangerous levels today, your safety matters more than anything else. Weโ€™re used to pushing through pressure, but this is one situation where we shouldnโ€™t ignore the risks. Prolonged exposure to extreme heat can affect your health, focus, and overall well-being.

We strongly encourage everyone to stay hydrated, avoid unnecessary outdoor exposure, especially during peak hours, and take breaks when needed. If youโ€™re feeling unwell, listen to your body. Rest is not a weakness, it is a responsibility.

In line with the announcement released by the Office of the University President regarding the implementation of asynchronous mode of learning across undergraduate classes in the UEP Main Campus, external campuses, including the College of Law, UEPKLC, UEPLES, and UEPLHS, we respectfully remind everyone to be guided accordingly. These measures are put in place to prioritize the safety and welfare of all UEPians amid extreme heat conditions.

Should there be any instances of confusion or inconsistencies in the conduct of classes, we encourage everyone to communicate respectfully through proper channels so that concerns may be addressed appropriately.

Letโ€™s look out for one another. Check on your friends, your blockmates, and your classmates. Your safety comes first, always.

Stay safe, UEPians.

STAY HYDRATED!

The danger level heat index is forecast to hit Dumangas, Iloilo and Catarman, Northern Samar anew on Monday, according to the state weather bureau.
