BUWAN NG WIKANG PAMBANSA 2026 | OPENING PROGRAM

The Office of the Student Development Affairs and Services (OSDAS) invites all students, faculty members, and personnel to join the Opening of Buwan ng Wikang Pambansa 2026 on Monday, August 3, 2026, during the Flag Ceremony.

Theme:
“Wikang Filipino at AI: Kasangkapan sa Pananaliksik at Tulay sa Yaman ng Impormasyon.”

To celebrate our Filipino language, culture, and heritage, everyone is encouraged to wear traditional Filipino attire, such as Barong Tagalog, Filipiniana, Maria Clara, Balintawak, or other Filipino-inspired cultural attire.

Let us come together in promoting our national identity while embracing innovation through the Filipino language.

📢 OSDAS REMINDER | PRACTICE PROPER GROUP CHAT ETIQUETTE

Group chats have become an important part of school communication. They help students receive announcements, ask questions, coordinate activities, and stay connected with their teachers and classmates.

The Office of Student Development Affairs and Services (OSDAS) reminds all students to practice proper online communication and responsible digital behavior when using official class, organization, and school-related group chats.

✅ Communicate respectfully with teachers, staff, and fellow students.
✅ Use polite expressions such as “po” and “opo”when addressing teachers and school personnel.
✅ Read previous messages and announcements before asking questions.
✅ Keep conversations relevant to the purpose of the group chat.
✅ Avoid flooding the GC with unnecessary messages, stickers, memes, or unrelated content.
✅ Observe appropriate messaging hours, especially when communicating with teachers and school personnel.
✅ Respect the privacy of everyone in the group. Do not share screenshots, conversations, photos, or personal information without permission.
✅ Avoid offensive language, bullying, disrespectful comments, inappropriate jokes, and online arguments.
✅ Think carefully before sending or posting anything. Remember that your online behavior reflects your character and sense of responsibility.
✅ For personal or confidential concerns, communicate privately with the appropriate teacher or school personnel.

📌 Remember:
An official school group chat is an extension of our learning environment. The respect, discipline, courtesy, and responsibility we practice inside the school should also be reflected in the way we communicate online.

CATBALOGAN CITY, Samar — The Office of Student Development Affairs and Services (OSDAS) of Catbalogan City Community College (CCCC) successfully conducted a Consultative Meeting for Parents/Guardians and Students on Friday, July 24, 2026, at the CCCC Activity Center.

The meeting served as an avenue to strengthen the partnership between the College and families by discussing important school matters that directly affect the student community. It also provided parents, guardians, and students with the opportunity to raise concerns, share suggestions, and offer recommendations to help improve student services and the overall learning environment.

Among the key agenda discussed were the implementation of the school uniform policy, off-campus activity requirements, and institute-specific concerns involving the Institute of Accountancy, Business, Management, and Entrepreneurship (IABME) and the Institute of Criminal Justice, Education, Governance, and Public Safety (ICJEGPS). Other matters were also addressed during an open forum, allowing participants to actively engage in meaningful discussions with the college administration.

The consultative meeting reflects CCCC's commitment to promoting transparency, collaboration, and open communication with its stakeholders, recognizing the vital role of parents and guardians in supporting students' academic success and personal development.
