As we embarked on a new wave of student advocacy and initiative, the College of Arts and Sciences Provincial Student Government brought together the passionate changemakers and trailblazers of various CAS student organizations.
The Information System Society (IS Society) proudly participated in the Leadership Symposium and Technical Writing Workshop held on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, at the Convention Center.
The symposium reminded us that leadership goes beyond holding a positionโit is about service, responsibility, and the ability to lead and inspire others. Leadership is not simply about standing at the front, but about lifting others as we move forward together. True leaders are defined not only by the title they carry, but by the impact they create and the people they empower along the way.
The workshop also emphasized the importance of clear and effective communication, grounded in precision, clarity, and purpose. Technical writing serves as a bridge that transforms complex ideas into meaningful and actionable outcomesโallowing leaders to turn their vision into impact.
As we continue to advance student advocacy, organizational efficiency, and professional growth, the IS Society remains committed to developing leaders who are ready to serve, communicate, and create meaningful change.
Lead with purpose. Serve with heart. Communicate with impact.
