To all Stakeholders, Partner Government and Non-Government Agencies, Instrumentalities, and Institutions, Students, Faculty Members and Employees:
This is to inform the public that the University of Eastern Philippines Main and External Campuses will adopt a four-day workweek arrangement in all of its offices and units effective today, March 09, 2026 pursuant to Memorandum No. 114, Series of 2026 issued by the President, Republic of the Philippines and the BOR-Approved Modified Working Schedule.
As such, pursuant to our internal guidelines of the university as per Memorandum No. 54, Series of 2026, all non-teaching personnel and cumulative faculty members are required to report on-site from Mondays to Thursdays from 7:00AM to 12NN and from 1:00PM to 6:00PM. Hence, offices and units in the university will be open to the public in the foregoing schedule and Fridays will be observed as non-working day.
Further, in accordance with the UEP BOR Approved Learning and Continuity Plan, all class schedules will remain the same for the 2nd Semester of School Year 2025-2026 except for Fridays which will be dedicated for modular distance learning for students. All faculty members shall strictly comply with this working schedule.
The four-day onsite working scheme EXPRESSLY EXCLUDES the faculty and staff of the Graduate Studies Program, the College of Law and the NSTP Program, including the personnel from the Medical and Dental Services for the continued implementation of Bagong Urgent Care Ambulatory Services (BUCAS), Security Office, Monitoring Unit, Special Projects such as the UEP White Beach, Agripark, Clonal Nursery, MRF, SSF, Agricultural Monitoring Team, Horticulture, UEP Sky Garden, Rice and Crop Plantation, Cattle project, Carabao Breeding Project, Swine and Poultry project, Personnel assigned in the Academic Building, Kapihan Hall, Hostel, Farmerβs Training Center, Gymnatorium, Centennial Hall, other Agricultural Projects, and the General Services Unit.
Specific schedules shall be approved for offices and units required to deliver a βno noon breakβ service to organize appropriate work schedules and maintain adequate staffing to ensure the smooth and continuous delivery of services.
