FinEDGE | JFINEX SEMINAR 2026 – AFTERNOON SESSION

The College of Business Administration gained valuable insights during the FinEDGE Seminar as Ms. Peabie Kate Bejar, Unit Manager of Pru Life, discussed the important role of insurance companies and how they operate.

Through the session, Financial Management students learned the importance of insurance in providing financial protection during unexpected events. The discussion emphasized how having insurance can help reduce financial burdens, protect one’s finances, and provide greater security for the future.

FinEDGE 2026 | JFINEX SEMINAR — MORNING SESSION

Theme: "Beyond the Numbers: The Role of Financial Institutions as Engines of Innovation and Economic Growth".

The College of Business Administration successfully kicked off the morning session of the FinEDGE Seminar, bringing together future business professionals for a meaningful discussion on the vital role of financial institutions in driving innovation and economic growth.

Through insightful discussions and an open forum, participants gained a deeper appreciation of how the universal banks continues to shape the business landscape and create socio-economic impacts in our society. ✨🙌🏻

Our gratitude to the resource speakers Ms. Christina M. Villegas and Ms. Jalen R. Cortina for sharing their time, knowledge and expertise to the financial management students. “One heart is restless until it rests in You.” — St. Augustine

Second-year BSBA students held their recollection at Our Lady of the Visitation Seminary, a time to pause, reflect, and deepen their faith. Led by Father Limon, the students were reminded to seek true peace and happiness through Jesus Christ.

Through the documentary Augustine: The Son of Her Tears, they learned that even when they feel lost, God’s love and mercy are always there to guide them home at the right time. Like St. Monica, they were reminded to remain patient, faithful, and trusting in God’s timing.

The day ended with a peaceful moment of reflection as the students proceeded to confession.
