1925 Trees Challenge
The APO Pi Eta Chapter has officially adopted a tree planting site at the Abuan River in the City of Ilagan, Isabela as part of our continuing environmental service efforts.
In November 2024, the chapter launched the 1925 Trees Challenge, an environmental service initiative aimed at contributing to forest restoration and environmental sustainability. During the launch, the chapter successfully planted 108 seedlings.
Today, we continued this commitment by planting an additional 80 seedlings in our officially adopted site, bringing the current total to 188 seedlings planted.
This meaningful activity was made possible with the support and participation of our partner:
• APO CAMIAA
• APO Gamma Mu Chapter
• APO Xi Tau Chapter
• APO Beta Xi Chapter
• APO Iota Delta Chapter
• APO PC279
• SRB Omega Sigma Chapter
We would also like to extend our sincere appreciation to our organizers who supported this activity. Special thanks to Sir Billy of CENRO for providing the seedlings and for the valuable assistance during the activity, and to the LGU Ilagan for approving our request.
Moving forward, the chapter is committed not only to planting but also to nurturing and monitoring the seedlings in our adopted site to ensure their sustainability and growth.
As of today, we are still working towards our goal. With 188 seedlings planted so far, we remain determined to continue our efforts and achieve the target of the 1925 Trees Challenge.
Together, we plant today for a greener tomorrow. 🌿
