TAGASTE Day 2 Highlights Formation and Sense of Community
TAGASTE 2026 continued on August 27 with activities focused on student formation, institutional orientation, and community building.
The day began with a Eucharistic Celebration in honor of the Feast of St. Monica, with College President Fr. Romeo Ben A. Potencio Jr., OAR as the Mass Presider.
This was followed by simultaneous orientations for Junior High School and College, which introduced students to essential campus services provided by various offices, including the St. Thomas of Villanova Learning Resource Center, Accounting Office and Finance Office, Admission Office and Registrar's Office, Center for Information and Communications Technology, Center for Augustinian Recollect Heart Solidarity (ARCORES), Center for Health Services, Student Development and Placement Center, and Campus Ministry Office.
Meanwhile, Grade School pupils participated in a team-building activity, while the Senior High School Department held its own activities, namely the "Sebastinian Got Talent" and "Lakan at Lakambini ng Lahi 2026" organized by the Supreme Student Government - Senior High School.
These engagements complemented the day’s emphasis on fostering participation and a stronger sense of community among students.
In the afternoon, College students gathered for their respective Organizational General Assemblies, where student organizations conducted programs under the guidance of their organizational advisers.
At 3:00 p.m., Sebastinians participated in the Grand Procession, which featured images of St. Augustine and other Patrons of the school.
The second day of TAGASTE 2026 provided students with opportunities to become more familiar with the services and organizations that form part of their Sebastinian experience, reinforcing the celebration’s emphasis on formation and belonging.
