Sebastinians gathered as one community at the St. Sebastian Chapel, Main Campus for the institutional Mass in honor of the Solemnity of St. Ezekiel Moreno, August 19.

After the Mass, the Healing Rite and “Palapak” invoking the intercession of St. Ezekiel Moreno was administered by the Recollect Fathers.

Today, we honor the life and witness St. Ezekiel Moreno on his feast day.

An Augustinian Recollect missionary, St. Ezekiel dedicated his life to bringing Christ's compassion to those who suffered. During the cholera outbreaks of the nineteenth century, he ministered tirelessly to the sick in Cavite, offering comfort, hope, and the Last Rites to those in need. As the Patron Saint of Cancer Patients, he also understood suffering firsthand, courageously bearing cancer of the palate and nose.

May his unwavering missionary spirit, courageous faith, and selfless love for others inspire us to live lives of compassion, service, and steadfast trust in God.

The Eucharistic Celebration in honor of the Feast of St. Ezekiel Moreno will also be held tomorrow at 8:00 a.m. at the St. Sebastian Chapel, Main Campus.

All lay collaborators are required to attend the Eucharistic Celebration.

Following the announcement of the Local Government Unit, classes in the Integrated Basic Education Department (IBED) and 2nd year to 4th year College students will shift to online synchronous mode tomorrow,
August 18.

1st year College students are advised to check their ssc-r email or coordinate with their respective Deans/Program Chairs through their colleges official pages for the online class links and other instructions.

Faculty members will observe a Work From Home (WFH) arrangement.

Office operations in both campuses will continue as usual.
