“Wikang Filipino at AI: Kasangkapan sa Pananaliksik at Tulay sa Yaman ng Impormasyon”

Ngayong Agosto, ipinagdiriwang natin ang ating pagiging Pilipino at ang ating talento sa Sining, Agham, at Teknolohiya. Nabuo ang tradisyon ng Buwan ng Wika dahil sa layunin ng Komisyon sa Wikang Filipino(KWF) na itaguyod, pagyamanin, at palaganapin ang wikang Filipino bilang pambansang wika at instrumento ng pagkakaisa ng bawat Pilipino.

Ngayong taon, ang napiling tema ay “Wikang Filipino at AI: Kasangkapan sa Pananaliksik at Tulay sa Yaman ng Impormasyon,” na nagbibigay-pansin sa mabilis na pag-unlad at lumalawak na impluwensya ng AI sa kasalukuyang henerasyon.

“Nakabubuti ba ’to? May masamang dulot ba ’to? Eh, etikal ba’ng gamitin ’to?”

Sa patuloy na paghubog ng Artificial Intelligence (AI) sa paraan ng ating pagkatuto, paglikha, at pag-likom ng impormasyon sa Internet, may dalawang anyo ng AI na nagiging higit na kapansin-pansin: AI-ASSISTED at GENERATIVE AI. Bagama’t pareho itong gumagamit ng AI, magkaiba ang kanilang layunin. Ang isa ay tumutulong sa iyo, habang ang isa naman ay lumilikha para sa iyo.

May we always keep our eyes open to the struggles before us, and our feet strong enough to stand firm for the truth and, always, for justice.
