PART 2 | BUWAN NG WIKA 2026: TALENTO AT KULTURA, BUMIDA SA TANGHALI 🇵🇭

Ipinagpatuloy sa DEBESMSCAT – Cawayan Campus ang masiglang pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wika 2026 sa pamamagitan ng iba’t ibang paligsahan at pagtatanghal na nagbigay-buhay sa wikang Filipino, sining, at kulturang Pilipino.

Pagsapit ng tanghali, naging tampok ang mga paligsahan sa Kundiman, Balitaw, Pagbigkas ng Tula, at Spoken Poetry o Tulaang Pasalita, kung saan naipamalas ng mga kalahok ang kanilang husay sa pag-awit, pagbigkas, pagpapahayag, at malikhaing paggamit ng wikang Filipino.

Sinundan ito ng pagpili ng Lakan at Lakambini, na nagbigay-diin sa talento, kultura, at pagmamalaki sa pagiging Pilipino. Naging makulay rin ang Kantahan at Sayawan sa Nayon, na nagbigay-buhay sa mga awit, sayaw, sining, at tradisyong sumasalamin sa mayamang kasaysayan ng bansa.
Bilang pagkilala sa husay at pakikilahok, isinagawa rin ang pagbibigay ng mga gantimpala at sertipiko sa mga kalahok at nagwagi sa iba’t ibang gawain.

Sa ikalawang bahagi ng pagdiriwang, muling nasilayan ang yaman ng kulturang Pilipino—sa bawat awit, sayaw, tula, at tinig na nagpapaalala sa kahalagahan ng ating wika at pagkakakilanlan.

PART 1 | BUWAN NG WIKA 2026: BAYANIHAN AT PAGKAKAISA, UMARANGKADA SA UMAGA 🇵🇭

Naging masigla ang pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wika 2026 sa Dr. Emilio B. Espinosa Sr. Memorial State College of Agriculture and Technology (DEBESMSCAT) – Cawayan Campus, tampok ang mga gawaing nagbigay-diin sa diwa ng bayanihan, pagkakaisa, at pagkamalikhain.

Sa umaga, isinagawa ang mga Laro ng Lahi, kabilang ang Ipit Pamaymay, Putukan ng Lobo, Hanapin ang Kalahi, Karang-Karang Bagul, Karera ng Sako, at Labay Ekis. Sa pamamagitan ng mga larong ito, naipamalas ng mga kalahok ang pagtutulungan, pakikipagkapwa, at pagkakaisa, mga pagpapahalagang bahagi ng kulturang Pilipino.

Kasabay nito, tampok din ang mga likhang slogan at poster na nilikha ng mga talentadong mag-aaral ng Cawayan Campus. Sa kanilang mga likha, naipakita ang pagkamalikhain, husay, at pagpapahalaga sa wikang Filipino at kulturang Pilipino.
Sa unang bahagi ng pagdiriwang, muling pinatunayan na ang wika ay hindi lamang ginagamit sa pagpapahayag, kundi nagsisilbi ring tulay sa pagkakaisa, kultura, at pagkakakilanlang Pilipino.

ATTENTION DEBESMSCAT STUDENTS!

Applications are NOW OPEN for the Tulong Dunong Program (TDP) Scholarship under the Office of Senator Francis "Kiko" N. Pangilinan in partnership with CHED-UniFAST!

The Tulong Dunong Program (TDP) provides financial assistance to qualified students enrolled in agriculture and allied programs who are undertaking extension work, community immersion, internship, or on-the-job training (OJT) during Academic Year 2026–2027.

📌 Scholarship Benefits
💰 ₱15,000 Financial Assistance
₱7,500 per semester
Covers two (2) semesters for AY 2026–2027.

✅ Who May Apply?
Students enrolled in CHED-recognized bachelor's degree programs in:
• Agriculture
• Fisheries
• Forestry
• Agricultural Engineering
• Agribusiness
• Veterinary Medicine
• Other agriculture-related programs

Applicants must be currently undergoing or will undergo:
• Community Extension Work
• Internship/On-the-Job Training (OJT)
• Research Extension Activities involving farming and fishing communities.

📄 Documentary Requirements
• Accomplished TDP Application Form
• Certificate of Registration (COR)
• Official Study Load showing OJT/Extension subject (if available)
• Certificate of Indigency
• Photocopy of a valid Government ID or School ID

If a Certificate of Indigency is unavailable, applicants may submit a Certificate of Tax Exemption or a Social Case Study.

Application Period
July 22 – August 21, 2026

📍 Where to Submit
Interested students are required to submit their complete documentary requirements to the Office of Scholarship and Financial Assistance Services (OSFAS), DEBESMSCAT, on or before August 21, 2026.
OSFAS shall consolidate and endorse all qualified applications to the Office of Senator Francis "Kiko" N. Pangilinan in accordance with the prescribed submission process.

For the TES Grantees, you need to verify your name in the list. Please take note that only those who verified their names in the list and messaged them in the GC (or messaged Sir Noel, if not yet included in the GC) will be accommodated during the release:

CAWAYAN CAMPUS TDP-TES and TES RELEASE
DATE: JULY 30, 2026

PROCESS OF CLAIMING
Step 1: Check the posted list and take note of your assigned sequence number.
Step 2: Proceed to the Scholarship and Financial Assistance Services Office (OSFAS) to secure your Certification.
Step 3: After securing your Certification, proceed to the Cashier's Office to claim your cheque.

REQUIREMENTS
✔ Three (3) photocopies of your validated School ID
✔ Each photocopy must bear three (3) wet signatures using BLUE ink

If the grantee is unable to personally claim the financial assistance, additional requirements shall apply:

For Immediate Family Members
✔ One (1) Authorization Letter signed by the grantee with original (wet) signature using BLUE ink
✔ One (1) photocopy of the authorized representative's valid ID

For Non-Immediate Family Members
✔ One (1) Special Power of Attorney (SPA) duly notarized
✔ One (1) photocopy of the authorized representative's valid ID

📢 NOTICE TO DEBESMSCAT CAWAYAN CAMPUS TES AND TDP-TES GRANTEES

To provide greater convenience to our grantees from the Cawayan Campus, the release of financial assistance will also be conducted at DEBESMSCAT Cawayan Campus on July 30, 2026 (Thursday).

✅ TES Grantees (1st Semester, AY 2025–2026) from the Cawayan Campus who prefer not to claim their cheque at the Main Campus may wait for the scheduled payout on July 30, 2026.

✅ TDP-TES Grantees of the Cawayan Campus may also claim their financial assistance on the same day, as the release of TES and TDP-TES will be conducted simultaneously.

📌 Please bring all the required documents and follow the instructions that will be provided during the release.
