DENGUE AWARENESS MONTH 2026

"Prevent Dengue: Search and Destroy Mosquito Breeding Sites!"

This Dengue Awareness Month, the ACT-IEF College of Nursing joins the nation in promoting awareness, prevention, and community action against dengue fever.

Dengue remains a significant public health concern, especially during the rainy season. As future healthcare professionals, we encourage everyone to take an active role in protecting their families and communities by following these simple but effective preventive measures:

โœ… Search and destroy mosquito breeding sites.
โœ… Cover water containers and properly dispose of waste.
โœ… Wear protective clothing and use mosquito repellents.
โœ… Keep surroundings clean and free from stagnant water.
โœ… Seek immediate medical attention if dengue symptoms occur.

Common symptoms of dengue include:

๐Ÿ”น Severe headache
๐Ÿ”น Muscle and joint pain
๐Ÿ”น Skin rashes
