ACT-IEF is now a recognized consortium member of the Central Visayas Consortium for Health Research and Development (CVCHRD)!
Ms. Via Abellanosa, Head of the ACT Office of Research, signed the Memorandum of Understanding at the 11th Central Visayas Health Research & Innovation Conference, alongside 33 established member institutions.
This milestone opens new opportunities for ACT's Research pursuits, paving the way for collaboration, networking, and capacity-building as ACT contributes towards strengthening health research, policy, and innovation in Central Visayas and the whole country.

Hypertension Awareness Month 2026

This month, the ACTIEF College of Nursing joins the global community in raising awareness about hypertension (high blood pressure)—often called the “silent killer” because it may show no symptoms but can lead to serious health complications such as heart disease, stroke, and kidney problems.

As future nurses and healthcare advocates, we encourage everyone to take simple yet important steps to protect their health:
